Interesting. So what makes it chart? Does it depend solely on sales? I wonder what made BBC2 add it at all at this point in time. But better late than never! Actually, they aren't adding GT late. The radio impact date for the UK was pushed back to July (I can't remember the exact date), so they are probably adding GT at about the right time for the UK. I think the impact date is July 31st but don't hold me to it...Shosh had it tweeted once as far as I remember...

I was thinking the same (except for the sandals!) so I played around a bit. Oh you are right...now make the shirt white with the grey/silver....we should go into business...hahaha staining Adam is like having your own Ken doll to dress...or paper doll....lol...so fun....cause you know it will always look good... This is the best I could do to get the shirt white.

Interesting. So what makes it chart? Does it depend solely on sales? I wonder what made BBC2 add it at all at this point in time. But better late than never! This is not a chart -- this is a programming decision by the BBC Radio 2. It is a radio playlist add. It is very difficult for any American artist to get a BBC Radio 1 or BBC Radio 2 add -- particularly a mainstream pop artist. Most of the American artist who make the BBC playlists are in genres that the US leads in Hip Hip, Urban and Country Crossover. Here is a description about how BBC Radio 2 makes programming decisions: www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/radio/entries/6dc42e38-7c5f-3729-be7c-53f324fb7f09 [It is from 2012 but it has not changed since then.] I know it isn't a chart, but lilly said if it charts, then it will be added to BBC1 too. As for BBC2 adding policy - thanks for the quote! Seems like it's based on nothing but their own feelings and favorites. Fine with me.

Have to say, I could pass on the cummerbund -- foolish looking things IMHO. *** Adam always looks great in cool gray and silvers. I agree. I think the cummerbund is almost as ridiculous as the string tie. I've never met a man who liked wearing either one.

I would have thought just a white sheer pullover or even a light silvery gray. The black on black looses all the detail of the black collar. And the gladiator sandals to keep it summery. WOAH - I just can't imagine sandals with a tux. it is a very untraditional tux...the shoes he is wearing IMO are too clunky for a light weight suit. something more like this: or even the gladiator style with a thinner sole.

This is the best I could do to get the shirt white. I am going for the black/black! IMO it is perfectly dramatic! The grey/grey and grey/white are easier on the eyes but they both look like a wedding tux to me and not as a fashion statement

OK Time for my recap so I can straighten out the record. Truth in reporting! "The fashion show followed with Adam Lambert’s performance, where he sang his new song “Ghost Town.” The singer gave a routine of new and old songs as he indulged the screaming crowd of fans. People were dancing, pushing and yelling out for the former American Idol winner’s attention. Some even fought for spots closer to the stage." Well, let's start at the beginning. I spent a lovely late afternoon with my friend Marcy (virgin), Mr and Mrs Mangokat and the very lovely Liliane and her DH (no real names as per our guidelines). We (or rather I) decided to line up early (as it turned out it was not really that necessary) and after a steamy but fun time in line, the VIP holders were let in where the vast majority made a bee line for the food and the Glamberts went straight to the theater to check it out. We found cushy white couches at around a mezzanine level with the theater seats behind and a large totally empty area where the catwalk and stage were. No one went down there. I thought it was forbidden but you guys know me, I took a stroll to check it out. Finally someone official appeared and I asked whether it was OK to stand at the stage. He said "sure". I managed to contain my shriek and got my little group the hell up there and we almost passed out thinking of the blast of charisma we were about to experience. Other than the Sessions the night before, Liliane and DH had never seen Adam and I was squealing in anticipation of the two puddles they would be reduced to be the end of even a short set. My friend Marcy would be in the same boat and Smargie and I were essentially beside ourselves 'cause we knew what was coming. Oddly, we were about the only ones at the stage until the rest of the So FL glamberts I hang with came in, took one look at us and rushed over to the other side of the stage at the catwalk. Even so, there was a total of only around 25 for the longest time. It was not a high stage and we realized how very very close we were going to be to Adam - no barrier, no guards. Fainting at the thought. But there was no pushing, no fighting, no biting. Why? Everyone else was eating! As the entertainment time drew near, it all filled out but plenty of room for everyone until right up to the fashion show. It was amazing how little the models had on except for the three boys. Would that I could say the same for Adam. The hostess sent the boys over to us at the end for selfies 'cause she already got where our minds were. I didn't take one but I did talk to the gorgeous guy in the copper tight mid thigh length bathing suit and asked him if he could talk Adam into changing into it for the performance. LOL We saw twitter pictures and chatter about how Adam was dressed in a Bed, Bath and Beyond special. We did not know what to expect. Glad you all liked it. After the shorts last night, I could have done with something more "defining" but when he took the stage I really could not look at anything but his face and EYES. OMG He got right away that his Glamberts were there singing every word and he was so playful with us and of course with all the new to be fans and everyone had a ball. The eye locking smile thing was insane and we were zapped. A picture is worth a thousand words so there is one below. The singing was beyond. Already into lots of improvisation and lovely moves. The vids show that but not that current of electricity that exists when Adam is communing with his audience who are in the palm of his hand. Might be awhile with the foreign travel etc. till there is another live show I can attend but I am going to hold this one very close. It was totally special.
