I'm thinking anytime we get to see and or hear Adam singing is the biggest plus of all. The QAL shows give us that opportunity and we get to have these amazing videos from across the world. How awesome is that to see Adam backed up by an iconic band.

fuck it I wanted to listen to GHOST TOWN with Queen , but I CAN'T FOCUS BECAUSE OF ADAM'S SUCCULENT ASS . ................................is there an audio-only version of this ? lol !!! I couldn't even look at that nicely packaged item - I just kept looking at the legs and wondering how the hell did he get those pants on in the first place - Of course that's what I always wonder when I see everyone in the skinny jeans. Our friend Lycra.

Agreed on the SUPERIOR material necessary for Adam to show his full potential, but I am not one to diminish pop radio. I think Adele, Bruno, or iconic MJ (to name a few) have shown us that there is highly successful music that fits the very broad pop genre. Given Adam's singing talent, he could be the male Adele but he clearly doesn't want to take that musical road. (If you listen to his playlist on Spotify it becomes very clear what music he feels attracted to). I really, really like the new album as a very cohesive and intriguing effort to let us into his emotional journey, but I too am not so sure if any of the songs will be remembered decades from now. I personally consider his title track a song that should define him. I don't think great songs have much to do with genre. Some of the greatest songs of the 20th century were by the Beatles -- and are pop songs. I could post a big list of "bad, bad" rock music. I could post a big list of "bad, bad" pop music. But people have very strong genre preferences based on a complex set of social and experiential factors. *** I do a lot of consumer research on advertising and sensory response which means on music. I guarantee that Americans who are over 45 years old are the only market segment that would prefer Rock Ghost Town to the original Pop/Deep House Ghost Town. I am not talking about individuals, I am talking about the majority of the segment. Music taste in the US and Canada is largely based on the audio experiences you had when you were 13 to 25. If you listened to rock music then, it sounds different to you now vs. some one who listened to Pop and/or Hip Hop and/or R&B a lot during this critical period. I run into very few individuals who listened to jazz or classical music heavily when they were 13 - 25 years old and who did not listen to some form of contemporary music. (So no idea what the effect of this is.) I have been researching this for almost a decade -- it is hugely complex but the part that is not complex is that for the entire 20th century, genres are generational. This is thankfully changing -- as music becomes global and broadly accessible, and genre lines are being blurred. It is one of the good effects of digital music. I enjoy hearing about this. I was 13-25 during the heyday of Beatles-Stones British Invasion leading into the era of The Doors, Led Zeppelin, etc., and was also into some R&B - James Brown, Temptations, etc. I had a big gap during the 70s to mid 80s when I belatedly got into Bowie, then Prince, Pearl Jam, U2, GnR. Sort of a mixed bag! I always wondered why our parents said we'd "grow out" of listening to rock and wondered why we should. And replace it with what, Perry Como? I've found my tastes have become a little more pop though, and I blame that a lot on Adam, lol.

Very unpopular opinion and I stress IMO - I really don't like GT in its rock incarnation at all. For me it loses the whole ethereal, haunted vibe that made me love the song in the first place and it just becomes rather dated and pedestrian 'rock', much like Lucy which is my least favourite on the album. I enjoy QAL but I think Adam is worth more than to be the greatest #notfreddie and deserves to have his own music appreciated. I'm very happy that the South American fans can be rewarded for their long wait but also relieved this is a short tour. Keeping tally of his high notes or stanning Brian's guitar playing is not my thing, I just want to have Adam promote his own music successfully. My personal feeling is that many of the fan boards (not just this one) seem to have more interest in him singing nostalgic rock than in producing the type of music he loves. I didn't mean this to be quite so negative but all the 'this is the music he should be singing' has rather got to me recently so I guess I'm kind of Queen'd out. Back to lurking....... Thank you for this post. The disparagement of Adam's own music has been disappointing for this lurker, if not downright depressing. I didn't like this version of Ghost Town, either, for all the reasons you mentioned. Ethereal and haunting>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>dated and pedestrian.

Yeah, like they come in a spray can... Hahaha, so of course i wasn't the only one who was distracted from the song by that white pants. That ass.....that ass..... And i wondered as well how the hell he got in those pants, especially when you are a bit sweaty from perfoming and with a time schedule, cause the next song comes, wether he has his pants on or not He must get help with it (why did i miss that job advertisement? I wonder where he advertises for that... (Grindr?) (Actually, I still have 'succulent ass' in my google search box.... )

I guess they're stretchy? So no problem at all getting them on I think. Will try one of my pairs om tomorrow when I get put of the shower whether being damp makes the task more difficult. (The things we do for Adam). But I think there doesn't have to be a pant puller backstage. Sorry. But he definitely does have an assistant backstage. Maybe you're not too late to sign up for the TOH tour?

Those that prefer rock or the no holds barred vocals get that with QAL, those that like the pop/current sound get that with Era3 and The Original High promo and performances. Those of us that like both? Well we are just rolling in high cotton, giggling the days away. It's all good.
