That jacket! Dr. Bri, you are one special fellow. Don't ever change, Dr. Bri, but I must say that he belongs on an episode of "What not to wear." He's Dr. Brian effin May, he transcends fashion!

I clicked the smallest "download" word I could find. Nothing with a button. ETA: No, I clicked the small button in the middle with the blue background. I tried WWTLF. It sounds like a dry feed directly from Adam's mic, but how would that be possible? Very interesting. A couple of ways. Befriend the sound guy and get to plug in to his board (not easy or too likely), or find the frequency the mic is broadcast on. U2 fans do this often. If you can get close enough during soundcheck with the right equipment you can scan and find the right frequencies. They got pretty good at finding Bono's in ear monitor feed which gives a good concert recording because like Adam he likes to hear pretty much what the audience is hearing. But if you find the mic frequency you get the dry vocal. Only the dedicated tapers who go to LOTS of concerts reach the point of being allowed to plug in to the sound board. That depends on developing a long term relationship with the FOH guy.

If I'm not mistaken, that's Dr. Bri's lovely daughter Emily Ruth with him.

It has not only Adam's voice in a very dry feed, but also the backing voices (which in a dry feed sound more than a little pitchy at times, frankly). I can hear consonants popping in Adam's mic. At the beginning of WWTLF I even hear some mic handling. This just doesn't sound like it could have come from the broadcast recording. Hacking into the mic frequency makes much more sense.

That's a nice GT! I have no idea about her source....but the numbers look impressive. lol. I like Zippyshare...you can listen before you DL and it just has that one big orange Download button. Each MP3 I have of GT sounds a little different than the others. In this latest one, Adam's voice is clear and a little more prominent I think. I have others were Brian and the band are a little more prominent. I love all the various versions. Of course, you need to always listen with good headphones.

These isolated vocals are fascinating! It must be from the wireless mic feeds. I just listened to Save Me, and you can hear a lot of mic handling at the very beginning. Then, at the beginning of the chorus, if you count the beats, Adam does NOT miss the entrance. He is right on the beat. But, it sounds like the drum hit a strong downbeat two beats early, and Brian didn't come in with Adam at all. The feed continues, tho', so not an unplugged mic as some conjectured. Just a miscommunication. And an "oops" by either Rufus or Roger.
