I didn't know the comments on the ALN video had to be turned off! And apparently, it was because of awful comments by Gigi's fans! Sad! really??? that is so sad!

That is sad. Do you know..... were the awful comments towards Adam's fans or Adam himself? It was NOT due to Gigi's fans. I read through them last night, unless things really escalated today the comments were all AIMED AT GIGI. There were a couple of persistent hateful users totally trashing Gigi on every comment that mentioned her. Beyond awful comments. I reported two of posters as hate/bullying on several of the worst comments. Glad they are turned off.
that is really a shame! Poor Gigi. Man, i don't understand that people really spend their time trashing someone. Don't they have better things to do???

My impression too was that the comment section wasn't that bad. Most comments were reasonable despite some mild opinions from various fan groups, of course. Last time I went there I noticed one or two posters who were plain rude and relentlessly and repeatedly insulting toward Gigi, but I didn't read extensively through everything either. Hopefully, when you all are seeing homophobic and transphobic comments like those that littered the ALN video you are reporting them as hate speech. And these comments were beyond insulting, they were hate speech with a good number of bullying comments thrown in. In case you don't know how (firefox): hover your mouse over the right hand side of the offending comment, a circle with and arrow in it will appear, click, report spam or abuse appears, click, select the proper complaint and submit. Other browsers may vary but it is easy enough to google instructions for reporting. Maybe if they get reported promptly before the whole comment section is trashed it won't get to the point that comments are closed completely. On the other hand, what a great triumph for the troll(s) to get a whole comments section shut down because of them. That must feel amazing (sarcasm, but maybe true).

OMG!---was taking my son to basketball practice and ALN came on the radio. This was B96, CHR in Chicago. I am shocked! Adam has really broken through in Chicago this era--finally!
Hey, bullsfan, I'm from a close Chicago suburb. Nice to know there are Chicago area fans here!

Well, I read the article and it's all legalese to me. I don't understand it, to be hones. I don't get what it is PP wants. I did read a while ago that he was upset because his second album didn't do very well. I guess the issue in this article is entirely separate from that, but I'm afraid I can't figure it out. PP had a real hit with Home. Good song, and I'm sure he made a boatload of money off of it. But it takes more than that to keep a career going. AI isn't backing him anymore, so he's on his own. I don't dislike PP. I just have no particular feeling about him one way or another. To me, he has no star power at all, but to each their own. Hope this legal tangle gets figured out.
