This was a nice interview. The DJ's seemed really excited to talk with Adam and appreciate his talent. Adam seemed really happy and ready to get on stage to perform for his fans! Yes, very nice interview. And the first "hello" he says, that sounds like an Adam saying hello in a private conversation (not that i know how he talks in a private conversation) but it doesn't sound like the "work voice" of Adam ..His 'pillow talk' voice...?

Ahhh! And you say this at nighttime, hahaha! Now i have the image of Adam on his pillow in my mind, and that is a good image, but i have to fall asleep and that is not happening with this image, hahaha!

Very fun! I only listened to the lowest and highest notes of each video. First thought: "How does it sound?" (to paraphrase). Levine's highest notes in the video are mostly "woohoo" and such in falsetto. I'm not sure if that counts as actual singing.I love those Vh1 Diva ads. Sooo fun When talking about Adam Lambert's amazing voice, most people mention his extensive range first. And not just Adam. Range seems to be an important criteria in ranking a pop or rock singer. I wonder why. I suspect because so many pop singers have such a narrow range that those with a big range stand out as remarkable? Or maybe because range is something that can be objectively measured and compared, whereas other qualities of a voice are less quantifiable? Among classically trained singers, range is rarely mentioned when talking about the quality of a person's voice. Having a broad range is a given. You cannot be a professional classical singer without a broad range. You cannot sing the repertoire. As both Holst and Adam have said, much more important is "How does it sound?" Also, what can the singer DO with their voice in terms of flexibility, support, resonance, clarity, weight, control, consistency, etc, etc.? How movingly do they interpret the music and lyrics and role? While these attributes are not necessarily quantifiable or measurable, there are standards of excellence that many "experts" in voice agree upon. While personal taste does factor in to some degree, I think if you had these experts in voice evaluate a variety of singers, they would be likely to rank them very similarly. (As we know, a number of classically trained singers have been impressed with Adam's voice and most of the time, it is not because of range. If they mention that, it is almost an afterthought.) Adam Levine and Adam Lambert could both sing a piece with a limited range of an octave or less, and Lambert would still be in a totally different league from Levine (or of most pop/rock singers). Yes, if we are talking about pop singers and the pop genre, there are those who may prefer the sound of Levine over Lambert. Levine probably sounds much more like what their ears are used to listening to on the radio. From the perspective of a someone born, raised and trained on more formal and classical music, Lambert's voice is vastly more accomplished and pleasing to me.

How could anyone sleep if adam says "goodnight sweetheart" in his pillow voice??? Haha (i think his ex boyfriends must have had chronical sleep deprivation, when sleeping next to Adam )
