I'm curious if anyone has ever met these fans -- at a M&G or lining up for a show? I wonder if some of them are internet trolls? They are not internet trolls -- they are committed fans who love Adam, attend many concerts, support him a lot. They just have no perspective. For the most part they have been Adam fans since Idol -- at least one before Idol. And yes, I know some of them in real life. But the disturbing part to me is that a few of these fans are mean to other fans and to Adam's team. One of them actually called up Warner Brother Records and tried to speak with Rob Cavallo to tell them how to promote Adam. She could not get through and got mad that they would not speak to her. And she is not a troll, she will be at several US holiday concerts. I would put these overly involved, obsessive fans in the same category as trolls. I think fans can be trolls just like haters can be trolls. In fact, even worse because they evidently consider themselves super fans who love Adam more than anyone else and know what better than his team, and even WBR what is best for him. I think they are delusional, and really, what in the hell kind of sick love is that? I think that type of controlling obsession could become dangerous.

I think they are delusional, and really, what in the hell kind of sick love is that? I think that type of controlling obsession could become dangerous. They are not trolls. According to Wikipedia an internet troll is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion, often for their own amusement. That does not describe this behavior. They are fans -- albeit somewhat to very deluded fans. My solution is simple -- I avoid them. And since they tend to hang on Twitter, they are easy to avoid.
