Totally speculation as to what the arrangement would have been. I am still of the mind that the exposure during the advertisement period and during the actual shows would have increased the value of the deal well beyond any speculated monetary differences. He desparately needs a larger, youth oriented fan base IMO, this tour debacle was a huge loss to him in relation to making strides to break big in the US market. But what is done is done, he and his team is moving forward and doing what they can to keep him visible in the US. here is what I picture when I think of the DL "co-tour": Adam is playing to a couple of thousand of his fans in a slowly filling up arena doing his 30-40-ish mins set, while the DL teen fans already there are paying no attention...makes me sick... There is no need to be sick over something that never happened. Your vision is not a co-tour, that is an unknown opener. Not every concert goer comes in late, many actually go to enjoy the entire experience. The upside and what made this matchup intriguing was that her fan base by and large appeared to be very receptive to Adam. There as already a commonality with the Glee experience.

WB and Adam are not so happy about all the streams just cause they like Spotify. Just a clarifier please...Are you meaning Adam and team like Spotify more than other streams like Tidal/Beat...etc? As an aside: When it was posted that Adam had 109 million streams I got into google and calculated the .00028 (approx amount to an artist x 109 million)to get a rough idea as to what income would come Adam's way. Then I read this article ....and it is so discouraging that the more streams members generate--- the less the artist gets paid. www.digitalmusicnews.com/2015/06/11/the-more-money-spotify-makes-the-less-artists-get-paid/If this is true information...I was was very disheartened to realize that if I play TOH or GT over a million times that does not mean Adam gets the amount I expected. Spotify puts the money for membership in a pot. If say 100 people pay 10.00 a month for the service and these people stream music constantly, Spotify can only pay out--- in a ratio--- to artists from the pot of income. This article suggests several possible changes ---one is that people should be only allowed to stream so many times in a month for their fee, so that artists and labels get a decent return for their product/song. Anyway it was an interesting read.
