well, he's not being exposed to any new fans like he wanted but I'm sure he's happy that you're happy I'm not JMHO Demi's tween fans and their dads (who come with them) are not likely to become Adam fans. Many artists open for other artists in an attempt to gain new fans -- it rarely works. Look at what happened when Adam opened for Rob Thomas in Vegas -- nothing. I was at the Buffalo Holiday Concert -- and got to see Adam perform to an arena mostly filled with Shawn Mendes fans who mostly older than Demi's fans. They were not interested in Adam -- at all. The whole "opening act to get exposure" idea rarely works -- and for an established artist like Adam can be a deathnail on future solo tours. One example from Idol is Jordan Sparks who opened for the Jonas Brothers (2009), Britney Spears (2009) and The NKOTBSB Tour (2011) in arenas -- got tons of exposure, had hit singles and still could not build a solo touring career. Her last solo tour was in 2010 (in theaters) and lost money. I would love someone to tell me when this opening act to expand a fanbase worked for an artist. Add to this that the tickets for concerts in bigger arenas would be much more expensive! So, I think that many younger people who heard GT on the radio and liked it and who would maybe be interested to check out Adam live for the first time, would be hesitant to buy a higher-priced ticket (... especially when there's a second artist that they are totally not interested in!), whereas on the other side they would think they could "take the risk" and buy a ticket, when it's cheaper! At least I know that some of my RL friends think this way! They are no Adam-fans but know him through me and like some of his songs. They would have also already liked to check him out live last year on the Queenbert-tour in Germany, but the ticket-prices were too high for them to attend a concert of someone, they only like but don't love! This year the situation is different! Because of the cheaper tickets-prices, some of them plan to buy tickets and attend Adam's show in Hamburg! And we all know that seeing Adam live often causes people to fall "down the rabbit hole" afterwards, so fingers crossed! LOL!!!

Late post here but while I am sure he would gain some fans performing as an opener for anyone because he is an amazing live performer I think saying his career is somehow damaged by loosing out on the Demi tour is a major stretch. Even in the size venues he is in now he is going to perform to people who aren't necessarily fans. Live tours sell for many reasons and in any size venue there are always people who are there not necessarily as fans of a particular artist. The most important aspect to building his fan base over time is to book whatever size venue he can fill an put on a fantastic show.

I think he is doing great. He made $10 million last year, is shopping for a second home, has a major label contract with a label that gets him, is in the midst of another "sold out" world tour, will be headlining Queen for some huge concerts this summer, has a worldwide Oreo jingle, and will be in a perfect role in the remake of RHS. Not shabby and I am sure he has more in the works! >> And why would anyone what him involved with an artist who would pull a stunt like Demi/her manager did? Ooh, where has Adam expressed he's shopping a for 2nd home, have I missed something? Quite likely. Is it a 2nd home or to move to another house?

Freaky, you can find it in this interview! www.smh.com.au/entertainment/music/what-would-freddie-do-adam-lambert-on-fronting-queen-and-holding-back-20160120-gm8vuc.html#ixzz3xl3rcCFb..."Last year he bought his first home in Hollywood, and he's casting about for a place – perhaps New York or London – to buy another." ...
