I dont think as well he would leave Queen that easy. And I think Warner is hally with this collaboratio , because it is great promo for Adam, people will check him and his music out after seeing him on stage with Queen. I was posing this as an "either/or" scenario. If he could choose one or the other. Late to the party here, but I think that ultimately it's the body of work that matters. One hit, even two is not enough to guarantee long term success. Adam may never get his mega hit tune but he is building his career in many other ways, not the least of which is his great collaboration with Queen, his activism and people acknowledging his incredible voice. He is living the life he always dreamed of. And I have no doubt he will segue into many other genres.

ETA: I was curious because of the #1 talk on previous pages so i googled how many songs made Billboard Hot 100 number one for 2015. Know what i found? There were 9 different songs all year! 9 ! Also, checked RIA for singles that went gold in 2015 and there were 31. I started to do Platinum singles also, but it became hard because there were many, but the majority were not released in 2015.

Oh, that's an interesting point. Where is Adam the most happy? What I've seen from Adam is that he was more focussed in his own tour, working a lot harder. Especially at the beginning of the show. Signalling the sound guy, taking care that the choreography looked good. Working to take the audience with him. I heard him soundchecking in Hamburg and I remember he sang at least 7 songs. I had the impression that he let go at the end, if he knew it had been a good show. And especially at the end of the tour, when he knew it had been a good tour. Yes, I saw him happy on stage, very happy, but I saw him angry too. I think that the intensity of having your own tour and being responsible for that and the happiness that you are indeed pulling it off balance things out. In the Queen shows I have seen Adam being much more relaxed. His bed is made, all he has to do is jump up and down on it. Yes, he has to do it right, but the audiences are in it from the start. He has got (most of) the die hard Queen fans, he knows it. The Queen production is very professional and it's mostly the same team who have been doing it for ages. Brian and Roger and the other guys are brilliant. And he gets to be absolutely ridiculous and glammed up. The sheer joy on that stage is like nothing I've ever felt. It's a less intense kind of happiness, but it is there and for me it feels like a warm sun (yeah, even in the cold Cologne rain) nic, i just now had a chance to read your re-cap about Cologne and it was wonderful. i loved how you described the people around you because that, plus your own story, somehow transported me there with you (how that could happen i have no idea since it's several days and thousands of miles away). and how wonderful it was that you ended up so close to adam when he came out from behind the curtain. oh, it was just all so perfect to read about. and, i'm sure so much more perfect in person. anyway, i just wanted to give you some feedback -- and let you know that your story made me happy!
