I think Sauli's dog looks lovable but does not look like a west LA dog. Looks more like a Canada dog. Adam needs a sleek, hot-climate dog. JMHO. I do recall that Adam mentioned Golden Retrievers in one interview. Ha ha, Canada dog? It was 38 degrees (100.4 F) in my part of Canada today. Oh God....now I remember why I left Ottawa....hate hate hate those hot humid summers.....gahhh I live in rainforest area with no noticable winters really.....total snowfall in the area of 6 or 7 inches spread out over several traumatic days....:-) and that is in Canada! Take that New York!! Re a dog for Adam, I really think he should reconsider cats...I can see him with a Bengal or a Savannah.....perfect for him and can join him when touring..if not too attached to Sauli :-). I had a Bengal [was stolen :-(] and it is very similar, albeit smaller, to a Savannah. youtu.be/RqJRhX72FmI

Sauli said he lives with Adam in the Finnish radio interview. And honestly, it would be kind of ridiculous not to. While they were in their long-distance situation, Sauli would have stayed with him for weeks at a time. For him to then come to L.A. and get his own apartment would be kind of weird, IMO. If you've already lived with someone for extended periods and have now uprooted your entire life to move across the world it's not likely you're going to then "date," regardless of his job situation. And the reason Sauli moved half way across the world and left his very close friends and family is for love, not a job. He had that in Finland. It was awesome he did find an ideal employment situation. Why would the radio station pay for his housing? Sauli lived here before he got the job. They didn't hire him and then relocate him and even then, 95% of companies I've ever known do not pay for your housing – the exception is oil companies or other international industries that require certain employees to move all over the world. Most companies will give you a relocation bonus though. However, Sauli got the job after he lived here. I can totally see Adam and Sauli with a dog – but a big dog and GOOFY. Adam and Sauli are both silly and hilarious. I think they would have a retriever or shepherd of sorts (love those pics of the Lamberts and Maggie; they obviously adored her). There is an awesome dog park in the Hollywood Hills; you can get a sense of every breed imaginable there. I hope they will go for a rescue dog that needs them and not some designer dog that is an "accessory." And when Adam has to start doing promo, etc. I think Sauli would feel more at home. He obviously loves dogs. I see them with an adorable white or yellow lab who is sweet and fun. K Susie please show me where Sauli says he's living with Adam *need proof* 8-) I don't have total link recall. I'm sure the Finnish Atoppers or Gelly will have the translation link handy when they get up. In the radio interview he talks about their "normal life," how it's not parties every night. They jog in the mornings and do regular stuff during the week. Everyone was flailing over it because it was sounded rather obvious from his statements they were living together.

kapsiz, I think Sauli is here to be with his boyfriend. The fact that he was able to also get a job just makes it easier! ETA: Susie, get out of my head!!! ETA Again: Susie, wouldn't my goofy Lab be just perfect for them?! Sauli needed to be a reporter to get a visa to stay in the US. It is one of the ways to stay in the US. This year's green card lottery will have around 17 million applicants registering for DV-2011 with 50,000 green cards. If accurate, the odds of getting a visa are 0.3% (1 of every 340). www.americangreencard.com/ ETA: Adam said he is a dog person. He has been asked "Dogs or cats?" many times and always said "dog". Sauli is at Adam's house. ETA #2: It will be hot in Ottawa for 4 weeks than start snowing again -- I only exaggerate a bit. It is not Phoenix which is likely to break the alltime record this year.

I'm still sure Sauli has his own "place" unless his show is paying Adam for him to live there! Business is business! And Love is Love! I'm sure it all works out! ;D

But Kapsiz, Sauli didn't come here to work. He came here to be with Adam. He got a job because of coming here for that, not vice versa.

I just don't think it works that way - Homeland Security and all :-/ You have to have a reason to be here & stay (job and all) - and just to be with your BF, isn't one of those reasons! JS :-/ Wishing on that though!

Sauli is only in the US because of Adam. He has no furniture, just his personal stuff. We don't even know how long he will be staying in LA. Just that he is living here now.

He is definitely here for Adam and because of Adam, but I don't have a clue whether US laws are different from Canadian laws and would require someone to HAVE to have a separate apartment. I know here you don't have to do that (but you need work if you're not just visiting). :

ITA about He's here because of Adam! He found a temp way to BE HERE cuz of Adam! Maybe Adam can get residency in a State that allows Gay Marriage (if he's serious about Sauli) then Sauli won't have to go back to Finland - unless he wants!
