It's still quiet in Adamland. So I have a question for you, what changes has being an Adam fan brought to your life? Is there something you have done or a skill or hobby you have learned that you think only came about from becoming his fan? I would think that those that have gone to Burning Man would say that was a direct result of their stanning. Mine is not so dramatic, and is more a result of Adamtopia. During a slow time, I checked out the book rec's on here and got totally hooked on the Outlander series. I had quit reading when Adam came along and it was great getting back to books. From the books came the tv series, from the series came knitwear. At the time I didn't knit but I wanted some of the stuff so I learned how and I'm pretty obsessed with it now. Without Adam, there would have been no Adamtopia, no Outlander, and no new passion for me of creating knitwear. It's kept me from being bored silly waiting for Adam to entertain me with new music

twitter.com/robininny/status/818821243512229888?ref_src=twsrc%5EtfwAll worth a read including this 3. Playlists Radio comes last. You want to be on Spotify playlists. Apple Music is a walled garden, there’s little virality and Spotify dominates. If you can get on a Spotify playlist and your music reacts, the company will work with you, they’ll spread the word by putting you on more playlists, helping to break your record. It’s a data-driven game, fakery is a thing of the past and radio is the icing on the cake. You live and die by the numbers.

This is why Isaiah is now having success all over the world with his song. The song got on a few playlists and kept growing until it got added to the Spotify Top Hits playlist and it blows up. I think he had a little help from Spotify with this, but they are monitoring the reaction on a playlist. Sharing the playlist and sharing the song helps enormous. Playing the song even more.

Well, how has Adam changed my life? WOW! First and foremost, he has made me more active in supporting civil rights issues, both physically and financially. I have always been outspoken, but I also have always liked to "keep the peace." Now I speak up when someone tells a "shady joke". (Doesn't happen very often anymore, for me.) Luckily my family and friends are a very inclusive group. Adam also inspired me in 2 other ways. I was a lifelong nail biter. Bit bit bit till there was barely anything left. When he won Idol and I knew I'd be going to the tour, I wanted to wear black nail polish for him. So I Stopped biting my nails and have not started again. It's been almost 8 years now. Unless you are a nail biter, you might not realize how big that is! The other way was, as QAL was announced, i realized i was terribly out of shape! I knew I would not enjoy a 2 hour QAL concert being 30+ pounds over weight! So I committed in March, right after the GMA announcement in 2014, to lose 30 pounds! I did it! Almost reached my goal by QAL Forum, but continued and reached my goal in Oct. 2014. Kept it off 2+ years now and I have NEVER kept my weight losses off before. I owe a lot to Mr. Adam Lambert! ETA: How could I forget travel! Because of Adam, i don't even blink an eye about teaveling aline! And not just to see his concerts!

Also, US radio monitors Spotify hits and will play those songs more. Seriously, once one buys an Adam single, you need to not even play the one you DLed. Just stream it on Spotify to listen to it! Pretty sure an artist's management and label use Spotify too, to choose sized venues for concerts and cities. Even which song the artist puts on their set list. Would not be surprised, at all, if this is why Runnin was put on the TOH set list. For a non single, its Spotify spins are high.
