Adams not spreading his political agendas via twitter or anything. He's just supporting a worthy charity. Some of his cray fans need to realise he's a grown ass man. As for the Grammys. Guess only way we'll know is time. ACLU is not a charity.

Maybe he will attend the Grammy's and maybe, just maybe we will see him on the Red Carpet. I'm thinking the same thing. IF he goes to the Grammys, there is at least an outside chance that he might walk on the red carpet and get a second or two of face time. After all, he may not be highest on the A-list, but he's not a nobody either. And the upcoming QAL tour has been getting promo, not to the James Corden show. So he's had a little recent cred. There's always the chance that he'll show up. And if so, I hope some reporter person puts a microphone up to him.

So the chances of Adam being in the GM tribute. Skim at best. Possibly a surprise guest. Or presenting more likely. I put the odds at 0.001% that Adam will be on the Grammy stage.

ACLU is not a charitable organization. , but it does a world of good. In addition to staffing volunteer attorneys and staff, they need to pay court filing fees, deposition costs and other costs completely apart from volunteer hours which are donated.

Adam Lambert Join me in supporting ACLU of Southern California w a hand-signed, limited edition lithograph auction!
… SMDH..... there is already some cray commenting that he shouldn't mix buisiness with politics, he's alienating half of his fan base and saying this isn't a charity, but a left wing lobby group. Im still constantly amazed by fans that just don't get who he is and what he stands for. Off my soap box now. You can stay on that soapbox as far as I am concerned. Regarding any negative comments about this poster donation -- I doubt that any Adam fans are actually upset. But I can imagine some of the Twitter "moms" worrying that someone might be offended. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is a nonpartisan, non-profit, organization whose stated mission is "to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States."That is not "left wing"!! That is no "right wing"!! This is a vital organization that defends the document and principles that stand between Americans and tyranny. And I don't think anyone needs to be reminded about how important that is right now.

From Wikipedia....
Legally, the ACLU consists of two separate but closely affiliated nonprofit organizations: the American Civil Liberties Union, a 501(c)(4) social welfare group, and the ACLU Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Both organizations engage in civil rights litigation, advocacy, and education, but only donations to the 501(c)(3) foundation are tax deductible, and only the 501(c)(4) group can engage in unlimited political lobbying.[9][10] The two organizations share office space and employees

Contributions to the 501(c)(3) are tax deductible. Donations to social welfare groups, are not tax deductible. 501(c)(4) Two types of organizations fit into this category: social welfare organizations and local associations of employees. Social welfare organizations can include homeowner associations and volunteer fire companies if they fit the exemptions. These organizations can engage in lobbying efforts if the causes coincide with the organization’s purpose. The Supreme Court’s 2010 Citizens United decision allowed corporations and labor unions to register as a 501(c)(4) and, in turn, spend unlimited amounts of money on politics without disclosing their donors. As a result, the IRS was flooded with new applications for 501(c)(4) organizations. Link: nonprofithub.org/starting-a-nonprofit/differences-501c3-501c4-tax-exemptions/

alisgr8, Adam trajectory has been slowly upwards, not a fast meteoric rise, like many of us hoped for, but it has been an incline since 2009. Right now, he needs to focus on getting something current out, to balance out all the great news about him and Queen.
I would very much wish him some award show appearances any time now, or yesterday for that matter, but the Superbowl is really not all that high on lists of must haves for a music artist, tbh. While it is a great spectacular in this country, it is very much focused on popular and mainstream, and for them Gaga this year was kind of out there, tbh. It worked, and they are probably relieved.
Queen, including their music catalog, will always be considered a retro-act on the mainstream level. The only way they would have a chance on anything like this is if Adam has a great hit or two that everyone can sing along to, and Adam could open with those songs, and then you bring Queen in for the bombast and the grand showcase. None of that is on the horizon right now.
And Adam said that his new album will go more earthy in style, more written to himself and if somebody likes it, then good. Nowhere does he say, I am writing the great anthem to be popular and at the top of the charts. If it happens, it will, if it does not, his career is unusual, and it will continue to be. This many years after idol, his career is sustained on its own merit, not because of idol, and the more the show fades into memory, the more that is the case.
This industry is big, and there is room for many more than the few most popular acts. At this time, I celebrate with Adam everything that comes his way, but I am not going to burden either him or myself with expectations that might just not be right for him. I very much get the sense that the muses are looking out for him. Whatever happens, happens.
Having said that, I wish Adam were included in the GM / Prince commemorative act. And the fact that he can in a way represent a part of both these very different artists, makes Adam actually unique in this way. I wish that would be properly recognized. Would mean much more to me than some grand TV show spectacular. Maybe it still happens, but if not, on to the next thing.
He has a spectacular appearance on Cordon in his pocket, a Queen tour coming up that is clearly selling, and he is working on his solo album. I am a very happy fan.
