Just looked up some of the Australian venues, those are huge! I've never been to a stadium concert and I'm seriously tempted especially since it's around the same time as the Aussie Open tennis tournament.

Wow. I hope, they can sell these. Personally, I prefer smaller venues. Like the arenas, that they did until now. I saw QAL in a stadium in Cologne 2016. The athmosphere wasn‘t as good and when have a seat, you‘re sooooo far away. But I can imagine, that now after th3 film, so many people want to see Queen, that they need stadiums. Wow indeed! Bold move to stadiums. I much prefer the arenas like in the US. It costs me a lot for close up seats...but I get close up and once you've done front row or very close, you're ruined for faraway IMO I would definitely go though if I lived in one of those OZ towns but don't think I'd travel long distances. I sure hope they fill those stadiums...that would be tons of $$$. Maybe ticket prices for the masses will be reasonable so more folks will go. Don't know how pricing is for stadiums

I’ve never been to a stadium show but I imagine the production design must be on a whole different level than that of an arena show.
perhaps they’ve built in some flexibility into their set so it can be scaled between the US arena version and the later stadium shows.
i bet Japan, Korea, may be EU will be in stadiums as well. Hope they do NZ too!
Wow! So exciting!
...on one hand I am happy I get to be at the MSG, but on the other hand I’d love to experience the atmosphere of a stadium show...

During their 2016 festival tour in Europe they also played in a stadium in Cologne. It was the same show. Sadly it wasn't sold out and the weather was very bad as well so it was a bit of a weird, but special show. In the Netherlands I rather have them do the Ziggo Dome twice than once the big stadium in Amsterdam. Mostly because the acoustic of the stadium is very bad. I'll see P!nk in that stadium this June, but it's definitely not the favorite venue. Maybe better if they do a festival then in the Netherlands.

Wow! Very exciting news for Queen and Adam. No outside venue (small or large) would be of interest to me, lol. But very happy for the fans in those countries, or those who travel there, who will have a chance to attend. And really happy for Adam getting this experience. I know he has done some stadium shows with Queen but he is probably thrilled to have the chance to add more. I always enjoy seeing good and big things happening for him.

I always think of Gold Coast as a bit of a cross between Orlando and Daytona Beach. Maybe that's just me.
But is pretty close to Brisbane. That is quite a bit of capacity that they are trying to fill there, between the two.
On the other hand, Melbourne venue is much smaller, they surely will need multiple concerts there. And then there is the question of what happens with New Zealand. Are they leaving it out? Or announcing it later?
Lots of open questions.
The AU Open is 3 weeks over by the time their concerts get started Down Under, so that should not matter anymore.

It was going on at the same time we were in Melbourne for Adam's TOH tour. Adam's mom and Ray were in town for that. I loved the town of Melbourne ...much more than Adelaide. We stayed on the beach across from the venue. Adam didn't do Brisbane, so I didn't get to go there. Adam did small venues so it was great. I've never done an outside stadium and don't care to.....but fingers crossed all these venues sell well.
