Really exciting news about the Australia tour next year!!! It must be quite a logistical effort and cost to tour "Down Under", so the larger venues make sense. Brian and Roger must still feel in good shape to keep going and plan ahead for another a year. I have a friend in Sydney, so may be it's my time next year to finally visit her and see a stadium show!!! Now I am thinking how and for what time to calculate Adam solo stuff into my budget...

Very exciting that they can sell out stadiums...(fingers crossed)...a huge achievement. But I do hope this doesn’t mark the end of arena venues in other parts of the world...(e.g. the Uk!)

Yes, we're thrilled! :D Many of us bought those expensive Knebworth tickets first which would have been an outside, big festival and luckily got those refunded when that fell through and then bought for The Apollo. Stampsgal and I sat next to each other...had never met before...and Bob Geldorf was sitting right behind us so we didn't stand up as much as we would have liked...lol...since he was slumped down comfortably in his seat and wasn't going to stand.

Wow! Very exciting news for Queen and Adam. No outside venue (small or large) would be of interest to me, lol. But very happy for the fans in those countries, or those who travel there, who will have a chance to attend. And really happy for Adam getting this experience. I know he has done some stadium shows with Queen but he is probably thrilled to have the chance to add more. I always enjoy seeing good and big things happening for him. I really prefer the outside venues ... much easier on my ears, the sound waves have somewhere to go rather than pounding and repounding my ears as they bounce off the walls and ceilings ... I'm one of the unfortunate ones who gets the "chipmunk" effect if I don't protect my ears during a concert.

I have a huge deck and on the rare occasion that I venture out there, I last maybe 15 minutes before I've had enough. I think the insects come searching for me too. HA. My guests often enjoy it tho. Even at cookouts, I manage to find my way inside, with my plate, at the first opportunity. There was one QAL concert near me that was outside. I wanted to go so bad. But the more I thought about the heat, with lots of people around, and it was a NOOOO. But I'm very happy with my tickets for QAL this time. Can't wait.
