Well, how about that....Adam appeared in this mornings daily Sun newspaper highlighting his AI mentorship role this coming Sunday, and then hitting the stage in the AI Finale. Hitting the stage is a promising way of suggesting ...performing--I hope!!! Happy they chose a recent picture. (Oscar after party) I am therefore assuming the article is the Sun newspaper affiliates across our country. YES!

On another note, Burning Man is having issues with BLM (Bureau of Land management, the federal agency that oversees and manages a lot of government-owned property, including the Black Rock Desert where Burning man is held).
Burning Man and the BLM have been working on the terms of Burning Man's permits for the future. 2019 is covered by the old agreements. A new agreement needs to be reached for 2020-2029, and the BLM wants some big, big changes.
Atop peeps have often been interested in Burning Man. An Atop group went in 2012. If you are interested in learning more about the changes the BLM has proposed check out the most recent Jack Rabbit Speaks issue.
When directed to read more at the blog, do go to the blog. Lots more info there.
If you are interested in reading about the Atop group that went in 2012 and/or the attempts at organizing a group to go a few years after that, go to members only-events and meetups, then put "burning Man 2012" in the search box.
I have a lot of great memories from 2012 (Atop group) and 2013 (friends and family).
peace&love

I was watching last night and I don't remember anyone saying Adam Lambert's name. It came very last so much like Mad World mostly people only saw it online. Yep. I didn't see it either. It seems like a wasted opportunity for advertisement. They should have put the announcement about the upcoming show in the middle of the show as they did the pretty long promo for Carrie and her tour. The announcement that I saw online about Adam was so short it would not have taken too much time.

Now that I got that off my chest I have an idea. Why don't we pass the time in a more positive way and tell each other what we love about Adam? I'll kick off with an easy one which we probably all agree on: I looooooove his voice! The tone, the versatility, the way he uses it. Just love! His voice and his showmanship!

Can we please stop complaining about the beard and the hair like every f*cking day? You guys made your point. There are also still plenty of people who like how he looks. I'm not even completely sure if I've become a fan if he was still clean shaven in 2015. I love the scruff and I really don't mind the beard. Clean shaven he was a boy. He's a grown ass man now and a very handsome one still. I've seen that there are also a lot of people complaining to Adam on FB about his look. The man gave us a heartfelt story not even 2 months ago that he had troubles emotionally and also has mentioned quite often that he's unsure about his body, but some still need to burn him down with everything he does. It's his body and it's his face. He decides what he does with it if we like it or not. Adam's looks have been a huge part of his appeal and I think it is only natural for fans to feel the need to discuss the obvious change. The reasons for his very different current look could be many or may be he just likes it, but I think it would help us all if we looked beyond the aesthetic alone, regardless of our preferences, and ask ourselves why it matters so much to us how Adam presents himself visually. He is still a vocal god. I agree that this is a good time to remember Adam's heartfelt and brave open letter ... it sure couldn't hurt to send good karma his way as busier times are coming up soon again. I really hope he is ready. Somehow I have a feeling that he is enjoying the quieter more private times now.

I didn't watch Monday but I can go back and check that one.
