I didn't want to start a political debate, so I am not going to respond to you, we can discuss off-line, if you want. Also, I am not pushing him as a candidate, but I realize and appreciate his healing influence as debater, for sure. The reason I posted it, is because he is Adam's age to the month, is from Indiana, and showed up at the Abbey, a bar that I only know about because of Adam. I doubt that Adam was there, I think he pays more attention to Sanders, as far as I get a sense of it, and is often, as we know rather unpolitical, until it impacts him more directly. Maybe has at least heard about Mayor Pete by now, either his father or brother would probably have told him, but Adam certainly has not said a thing about it. Also, anyways gay men do not always support their own kind, so there is that .....yeap that at times cuts both ways. Adam will do what he thinks is right for him. The reason I posted, is because, while our world seemingly drifts apart in its opinions and beliefs, it also grows together in ways that were previously inconceivable. I never thought I would see a openly gay presidential candidate with a sizable following in the US, and I certainly would have never believed that a major candidate for Presidency would show up in a place like The Abbey. The world is growing bigger and smaller at the same time.

I hope all people, even Adam, will look at the candidates and support the one or ones they think are best for the country no matter the sexuality, race or gender. Probably a little to early for many to decide who that candidate is with so many running. And opinions will likely change several times before they are down to a workable number of candidates to really get behind one.

Seems like whenever I see fan art and say “WTF,” Adam loves it!

Adam got a mention in the May issue of Vanity Fair! A Fox studio executive said he went to see QAL at the Hollywood Bowl and “ Adam Lambert filled in for Freddie Mercury.” He was there to see who made up the audience, and was struck by how multi-generational it was. He said he knew right then that they had to make sure the movie “Bohemian Rhapsody” had a PG-13 rating so more people would be able to see it. I just love to be reading along and have his name pop up. 🙂 It always astonishes me how hard fought it still is to present topics like a documentary honoring Freddie's legacy or alternatively anything that is related to Adam's career, as mainstream. The go-to place still seems to be the R-rated section, in the minds of many.
Obviously, we know what happened, when Bohemian Rhapsody gets turned into a PG-13 film, and it now seems a bit out of place to read that for 'Rocketman', they did not go down that same road. Not a smart move, if you ask me, but that is their decision. I don't want to see R-rated stuff around Elton John any more than I would have wanted to see it about Freddie.
Whoever this Fox studio executive responsible for BR was, he clearly has understood something that some others have yet to learn. That the segregated bubbles dictated on us when it comes to the gay community, are definitely a thing of the past. Being homosexual has come out of its separate bubble and into mainstream. According to the stories it's Elton that's pushing for the R rating, or at least for including all the rock and roll atmosphere and the sex scene. This Vanity Fair article says that R rated musical usually do poorly at the box office www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2019/04/elton-john-biopic-rocketman-bohemian-rhapsody-classic-roc-movies . Who wants to relive their youth with their kids, adult age or younger, when it's less about the music and more about the music man? BoRahp got it right.
