In case you are interested here is Rami yesterday talking about GC, no Adam mention (as usually with Rami) youtu.be/kA3kLrbLnSMI know, what's with that! He never mentions Adam's name, really pisses me off. Although his introduction at the GC event he did say something about the fantastic or beautiful voice of Adam Lambert. That was the introduction worthy of of Adam.
To be honest, I've been guilty of referring to QAL as "Queen" at more than a couple occasions. In my mind, Adam is a part of the group and without him there's no "Queen" in 2019, or any of the last almost 9 years.
But recently I've been more mindful of putting his name out there in the context of Queen.
Mind you, I'm a private citizen with a much smaller pulpit, so Rami should probably know better.

There is no doubt his performance was live that’s for sure. I thought he handled himself like a professional barely faltering and the death stare he gave back to that mic stand was funny. No one can ever accuse him of autotune. I thought he came across great and it was obvious to everyone watching that there were mic issues. He looked handsome as ever. The more important performance will be for James Corden in my opinion

Adam looked and sounded great once they got his Mic straightened out! WTF ABC?! That was unfortunate but all was not lost. Velvet went from #28 to #20 on itunes. Superpower went from 1300 something when I thought to look to now at 205. Not great movement but every little bit helps.

I imagine that the segments of the show are all precisely timed for breakaways, commercials etc. If they started the song over again after fixing the mic issue, it would screw with the timing of the show.
It also shows what a professional Adam is. Not only does he keep going (the show must go on), but does not appear at all bothered by it, during or after. None of that diva crap of stopping the song, throwing the mic down, walking off, giving everyone the snake eye, or complaining afterward. Kept his enthusiastic, positive attitude thruout. Assuming he kept that positive attitude when the cameras stopped rolling and he got off set, he would have won big points from the productions staff as well.
I suspect that the average home viewer would be impressed with how he handled it as well. "Professional. Nice guy. Likable. Great song."

He really nailed the song despite the mic issue. He's a true pro. And I really like the back-up singers! I wonder if he will have them on his solo tour. They add some nice depth. Watched the video of the first segment of the interview. Don't see any video of the second part of the interview. Hope it becomes available!

Actually got to watch it on TV. He got better and better as it went along. Though I bet it is a hard song to sing, with all the shifts from low to hig, and all the falsetto. I wonder if he’ll end up singing it more full voiced live as time passes, as he did with TOH. He can nail the falsetto in the studio probably with multiple takes. Don’t shoot me, but it’s never been his strong suit live!
He looked great. Love the leather.
