The Kiev outdoor concert with the amazing crowd in the streets is a number two for me, after the EMA's in N. Ireland. The woman PM(?) was effusive when interviewed following the concert.

I have to agree that the EMA’s were the beginning of all the magic—- all the POSSIBILITIES of all that was to come. Standing there in the shadows, no introduction needed—- that awesome air of mystery... But I have to say it was Kiev— Adam standing there in front of the masses on that magical night! To this day, when I ache to hear his voice, I still go back to that concert and listen to Adam duet with Roger—-Under Pressure—- and marvel again at his WHY, cascading across the multitude as they joined in. I had never heard such an extended note so beautifully expressed in all my life. On a personal note, I have to say that the night in Morongo was absolutely unforgettable. All in white, the mysterious soft rainfall in the desert. He looked and sounded so beautiful- took my breath away. Wicked Game-OMG And to think I almost didn’t go that night!!!! I watch that WHY over and over still to this day. My favorite Under Pressure to be sure. Also, I Want It All from that same performance -- jamming there next to Brian - the whole night was just unbelievable to me. Remember? It was a TV feed - clear picture, great sound - it was on really late at night here. I sat mesmerized in front of my monitor, sipping my brandy, and just cried with joy that he was nailing it. It was like a continual YES, YES, YES! from one song to the next.

I have to agree that...re QAL evenings...that one was a pretty close second for me also....it helped we saw these shows on professional feeds as well. The size and scope of that crowd was momentous...

The Kiev concert was my favorite event of the decade. It was one of the few times I watched a stream and was super emotional through it all, but outright cried the first time I heard WWTLF.
As far as solo Adam, it was getting my FYE CD...I remember getting so excited when I first got, and ripping into it. To this day, it's my favorite Adam album. Loved every song on that CD.

I have experienced lots of fun moments and chapters during the past decade of being an Adam fan, and I can't quite narrow it down to one only. Here are my top favorite moment(s) , and there are a few tied for #1... Adam and Queen ringing in the new year in the UK/London and Adam opening with "Tonight..." - that unforgettable smile during DSMN and that look, and the way he killed it for the rest of the evening with confidence and swagger really made my New Year Even on the stream it felt like a majorly redeeming and fun event. The other two moments happened during the TOH tour... Attending Adam's Ghost Town Halloween party was super fun, but the big moments happened a few months later during the TOH tour.. First one was Vegas standing room, when I was close enough to observe the teeniest expression on Adam's face and "witness" every drop of sweat running down his cheeks, until a few days later it hit me again at The Orpheum in LA. Adam performed in his hometown and he was happy and I remember how much I loved the Runnin/Chokehold/Sleepwalker medley. That section of an already incredible setlist was a dream!! I did not want that evening to end... I felt similarly this past weekend which was magnificent. It has to make the "top favorite" list.

Wow! There have been so many amazing moments but my top memory has to be Adam at the EMA's when he shook everybody to the core!! He was so beautiful and brave & was such an amazing performer! No one else would have had the courage to do what he did & felt, & it was almost earth-shaking and so genuine! I love him so much! His courage to quit his job when trying out for AI !! To give up his security and income -- wow! That is scarry and takes such guts! He deserves everything he has now and he's still kept his generous and loving and humble nature! What an amazing guy! No wonder I'm still inthralled after 7 years!! This quote still keeps coming back to me - "This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you", surely fits our guy. The other spectacular moment had to be when they opened the Oscars!! This decade is coming to a close & I can't wait to see what the new year has to offer!! There's never a slow moment and Adam is such a beautiful star to follow!! We're all so lucky!!

For me, Adam is at this creative best as a solo artist, and after having seen him at the El Rey on the most magical of nights, I choose that concert as my top Adam moment. He was electric, the set list was perfection, and they were his songs. I included this past weekend and the EL Rey as well. I am still not over it. For me, Adam solo is everything.

For me it has to be the EMAs too. The anticipation was unbearable - wondering what Adam would be doing. Most of the day it seems we were just hoping to see Adam up there with the big stars, singing his allocated two lines of WATC while Gaga dominated. And that was exciting enough! Lol. And then, with.no fuss or introduction, there he was and history started. I was even more hopeless with computers in those days and spent ages getting the EMAs on the screen, clicking like crazy - and I eventually got it but with a German Football commentary blasting in the background. Don’t know how I got two separate sounds but I was too scared of losing Adam to dare click anything off! Even with 100000 football fans erupting over a goal half way through, he was just plain magnificent. My heart burst. Newbies may like to read our longest day ever.... 141 pages! 6 November 2011...(page 153 of Daily News) Thank you for posting this! I became a fan after seeing Bohemian Rhapsody, the Oscars and The Show Must Go On, so the past year. I spent the afternoon reading this thread and others from when QAL first got together, Kiev, Las Vegas, first full tour. I can only imagine how exciting it was for you all! Adam is so talented! It’s been an amazing year and I am looking forward to what the new year will bring!

Hard to pick a favorite, but I will. The iHeart concert in Las Vegas. It was QAL'S first major gig in the U.S. I felt and so did everyone else,if they hit it big that night, they were on their way. Well they did and they were! Adam looked so great that night and performed flawlessly. When he sang WWTLF, it seemed the audience was in shock. I loved it! It was after that appearance that the prospects of a tour took shape.
