There are so many artists now doing various small "concerts" for their fans using Facebook or ....not sure which apps are most popular....to keep in touch with their fans and even grow their fanbase that it is really fun. I have been watching Melissa Etheridge fairly regularly and I have never been one to think much of her one way or another....she creates a little 'show' with just her partner using her iphone....and they are lovely. Even Brian and Roger post lots of little musical gems. I am truly surprised that Adam is not doing more. He said he was going to but never got past a short home 'show' and a make up tutorial of sorts. I am a bit sad about that as I think he is missing a golden opportunity. I am sure that there will surface an app or service that easily allows musicians to monetize their time on line, and that will be great.....but those that did not bother to communicate with fans for the love of the game, will be less likely to be win over new fans when money becomes the assumed motivation. I do not think that is behind Adam's absence but if he ignores his fans for too long, it will look that way. Meanwhile, I am not complaining as I am finding great new talents out there all the time. I think it is amazing and I suspect entertainment will be changed considerably...just as many other ways of doing business will change. Those that wait for life to return to normal, may find themselves sitting in the dust. And that is my concern for Adam. I love him and will go back to putting him first, I am sure....but there will be many who forget him ..... a few online interviews...or interview rehashes...is just no substitute. JMHO IMHO,Adam left much ,for the freedom of not having constant competition.. I hope he doesn't now begin to feel the need to keep up with some entertainers who are giving free on line mini concerts...There is enough pressure just surviving during this virus ,etc.. I'm thinking Adam feels secure in his relationship with fans and potential fans to be himself in all matters.I mean he must,be secure, he came out with a great album during this crisis.. I'm streaming like mad to show my love and appreciation .To add,I can love Adam to death ,while also appreciating other artists.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think he's learning how to use the equipment he got. I'm not expecting him to do this any certain way. It sounds like there are at least a couple of events coming up. Of course I would love to see him more but I just don't want to presume how to tell anyone how to handle this. Just my two cents we're all different!💖 I understand and agree...I am not telling him what he should do or not...I am saying how I feel about the number of artists who are doing something and how I feel that will help their relationships with their fans. It is totally up to the individuals and I do not feel like that Adam or anyone else owes me or anybody else any thing. I am not presuming to tell him or anyone else what to do.... I caught myself the other day, realizing how much less time I have been spending here and playing his music [and clearly I am not alone...we have had a long series off 2 page 'days' with nothing new at all...the odd rehashed interview or instagram from roomies...]. Is that not worrisome?....this is not a short normal lull...this could be the new normal for quite some time. I am concerned we won't even have a concert to go to in October... the latest statement coming out of New York and LA is that there may be no concerts or sports happenings for at least a year. Regardless of what “is allowed” will you go to an event that calls for tight proximity with hundreds or thousands of people without having immunity? I definitely will not. Even if we are equipped with N95 masks and goggles... so, it’s either getting the virus and surviving or being vaccinated...which means I sure hope it’s the latter, which In turn means 18 months as the best case ( vaccine approved and available for everyone to get vaccinated). I’d say 2 years until there is wide spread vaccination... on the other side of the equation- do I want Adam or Queen go out there and perform in front of the crowd? Mix with the crew and other supporting stuff, travel? Hell NO! And only vaccine will cure this... Adam needs to come up with an on-line way of doing stuff...his current withdrawal is unexplainable to me, drop the album and hide? Makes no sense...

I agree with you entirely, Mszue. I find myself enjoying the quirky, creative, spontaneous pieces many other artists are putting online. However informal. Who needs musicians when you can sing in the shower like Josh Groban? Or dance like no one’s watching in your sitting room like Ben Platt? (Or in your underpants like Olly Murs!) (No...to pre-empt...I really wouldn’t want Adam to do that). Adam is even isolating with a fabulous dancer....couldn’t they do something like a morning workout to songs from Velvet? I think that would be adorable...and get his music out there. i have been less than fascinated by Adam’s drag queen make-up lessons and pictures of his breakfast; rather too niche for me. I just think he’s missing a commercial trick when isolation to one degree or another, is going to be a very long haul.

I do get what you're saying. Somehow I think he'll be fine. And I read somewhere can't quote anyone but he has supposedly said in private that he might have to move everything to next year. I have tickets for 2 shows in Vegas so I'm hoping. I'm prepared to wait if necessary! I did also see him say he's talking to people about how to put out some music. At least he released Velvet. A lot of people postponed. In the long run I think that's good. Anyway onward and upward and looking forward to whatever he does!đź’–

nica575. Your point about continued risk of infection.... I have been wondering when/how/if Brian and Roger might feel safe to tour again. They are of an age to feel vulnerable and more than another year older when the tours are rescheduled. Much as they enjoy touring, they have enormous funds and luxury - and families and other interests.... Until a vaccine is available, I wonder if they would want to jeopardise all they have, .
