As far as "fans", I don't think you can follow this man for 10 years, "meet" the people he hangs out with, parties with, learn his heart, and how he thinks about the world in general...and then be surprised that he spoke out or be surprised about what he said. Exactly.

I reported these tweets a few minutes ago after TALC posted on Twitter. Why in the world people feel the need to post this kind of thing is beyond me. I agree with everything Adam is saying and respect him so much for speaking up. I have felt terrible about all this the last couple of days. This is the least I could do to report this stuff and support Adam any way I can. I sent him a couple of replies. Hopefully some good will come from all of this. Meantime I need some relief so I'm watching Worst Cooks in America. I am a huge supporter of Adam and his music and have supported him by buying his music, attending concerts, having spotify running constantly. I don't appreciate being called ignorant by someone just because I disagree with him. I think that makes him the ignorant one! I live near Portland, Or where Antifa has been active for years, these left wing militants are anti government, anti capitalism and anti police. The peaceful protesters are infiltrated by these bad apples. Look at the video's that have been posted, there will usually be young people in the front with their hands up facing off with the police and members of Antifa pile in behind them throwing rocks, bottles, bricks and whatever else they can find over the heads of the protesters in the front. The people in the front are the ones that usually end up getting arrested instead of those in the back who are actually inciting the riot. Burning businesses is another one of their hallmarks, remember they hate capitalism. The more expensive the items in the store the happier they are. Burning police cars is another hallmark of antifa, remember they hate the police. They normally don't do the looting, they let the locals do that, keeps them happy and willing participants, they get free stuff. If you want a real eye opener about this organization go to ROSE CITY ANTIFA and check out their facebook page. Sans antifa we would could have had meaningful protests without all the destruction and devastation that has taken place. Antifa doesn't care a whit about Mr. Floyd it's about them and how much damage they can do to a way of life the hate.

ceecee I don't disagree with anything you said. I wasn't directing my comments at anyone here just supporting Adam. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding your comment.

ceecee i don't think the ignorant part of Adams point is about who is causing truble and turning peacful protests into riots. (Correct me If im wrong and i missed something). As i understood it Adams ignorant was meant for people who are grading the racial Injustice and struggles that black people are constantly dealing with which is expressed in reaponses such as alllivesmatter. Which isn't untrue of course, but simply missing the point. Another point i feel Adam is uncompromising on is that white people shouldnt Tell black people how to feel and act, when they don't walk in their shoes. Just my Take. It's all such a effing mess. I'm happy to See so many of my artists speak out and some even Join the streets. Adam, Timothy Chalamet, Shawn Mendes and Camila cabello have joined the peaceful Protests. (These are the ones i know of, there are probably more) A sentence starting to Pop Up on social Media really hit me: they'd rather See the country burn than arrest three of their own...Like DAMN! On another Note: Police violence is also a Problem here in Germany. Every country is revieved on it's human rights every five years by Amnesty International. The Last two times Germany was admonished for it's Police violence. Of course politicians denied and said controle mechanisms are in place and work but it's always a problem when the Police has to investigate it's own. In France there is a seperate totally differnt Institution that is responsible for investigating police violence.

It is willful ignorance if people take Adam's comments to mean he is supporting the violence and destruction instead of the painful circumstances that brought us here. What is it about his statement that is so hard to comprehend? Why would anyone try to change his outrage, at what is happening, to mean something else? Why add on to his hurt? Some seem to be mad because they don't want to acknowledge that there is a problem. And it has been reported that radicals on the left and white extremists groups on the right are coming in to create havoc. Not surprised. Who could have missed those big brave men carrying weapons to the statehouse in Michigan over wearing a mask and social distancing. Adam like most recognizes that it is not helpful for the leaders to try to turn it into a political win by pointing the finger at one group, as the problem, and ignoring the others. Adam is a wise man. He knows what bigotry feels like and he only wants his fans to not just support him and his music but have some feelings for the rights of others too. And any who turn their back on him for speaking out seem to have a problem with him voicing wrongs when he sees them. Billie Eilish recently said shut the fu*k up to those who say all lives matter and trying to water down what the Black Lives Matter movement is about. I wonder how many of her fans are running for the hills and taking offense. Not many I suspect.

Forgive me, but I took Adam's comments to say to focus on the immediate issue. George Floyd was killed on suspicion of maybe passing a counterfeit $20 bill. I believe Adam was saying don't dilute that outrageous abuse of force with the consequences of lighting civic unrest and the chances for opportunistic looters and extremists to take advantage of the situation.
My son works in construction and has to go into Brooklyn tomorrow at 4am or some horrid hour. I am scared for him. That doesn't lessen my outrage that things are what they are.
As my church leader, Episcopal Bishop Curry wrote today "We have to be better than this."

Antifa doesn't care a whit about Mr. Floyd it's about them and how much damage they can do to a way of life the hate. Ask yourself as you travel down the road of doing HeWhoCannot amed's dirty work for him, what you really know about white supremacy. Antifa is not an organization, it does not have a leadership structure, and the easiest thing in the world for white supremacist actors to do is put on a black outfit and pass blame to "left-wing extremists". Have you heard of accelerationists for instance. Read this for an education. How about Boogaloo? Oh and here's a guy with a Boogaloo patch claiming ... see for yourself, they are showing up all over the place. This is just a small sample of white supremacist groups with agendas. Ask yourself who is really most likely to be stoking violence, those people who are against fascism (by the way that is what antifa is short for, not anti-capitalism) or the people who want to start the second civil war. I am not even going to do the whole 'every group has bad actors' bullshit because as of right now, nobody knows who is doing what. HeWhoCannot amed is trying avoid talking about real systemic race issues by throwing out a little left-wing white meat so that others can avoid thinking about the real purpose of the protests. Just blame it on the antifa lefties because all those white-supremacist have some "real good people". Please don't play HeWhoCannot amed's game. And hey Adam's brother is antifa, although I suspect he is just thinks fascism sucks lemons. twitter.com/negativeneil/status/1267183866936090624?s=20

I didn't see any of those "big brave me carrying weapons to the statehouse in Michigan" breaking out windows or trying to set the state house on fire.

junok9 I understand your frustrations. Will you also help raise awareness that Asians are being targeted/attacked by the fairer races as virus spreaders worldwide? So much so ... anyone who looks Asian are afraid to travel to majority “white” nations anymore... adamlambert @junok9 yes that’s a horrible thing. www.instagram.com/p/CA02-DBBoby/

ceecee because non of those "brave White men with guns" have to fear for their live doing every day stuff!!! They arent targetet by the police in an unproportional amount. Also the police didnt go against them with Rubber bullets and tear Gas, before anything happened. You seem to proove the point why extremists are doing what they are doing. Cousing unrest so the issue is Not about the deeply racial Injustice but a question of race. There is NOTHING mentally stable about bringing an AK15 to a protest!!! Had they been black they wouldn't have been called protesters but terrorists blocking fucking roads to hospitals!!! I've seen a Video of a pile of Stones conveniently stacked on the side of the Road. It didnt seem to come from a cinstruction Site. I havent fully figured Out what is going on but there seems to be a faul Game being played.
