That moment
6.7.20 by Q3
Today, I reflected on the past few months and realizing how unusual it has been for me. My bet is that it has been pretty different for all or you, too.
I spent some time thinking about the time before C-19 and reflected on what I missed most. And I realized, one of the things I really miss is that moment right before an Adam or QAL concert starts. You know it. The houselights go dark. You fixated on the curtain or screen that divides Adam from the audience. You heart rate goes up. It is briefly quiet then the crowd roars. We are all joined in one singular moment of anticipation.
That moment may only be a minute or two but it feels like time is stopped, like we are suspended in time and space.
Yes, I miss the concert performances. And my plan was to be in the UK right now preparing to go to "my" UK QAL concerts. I hope that will happen next year. But what I really miss in that moment.
Both Adam solo concerts and QAL concerts are designed to make that moment more important. To build it up even more than it might normally be.
I have experienced similar things at other artists' concerts but not with the same intensity. If Adam is involved, it is just different for me.
Thinking back to my Idols Lives concerts and Wilkes Barre concert kick off the Glam Nation Tour, I still recall that moment. I have even felt it before some of Adam's TV performances. That moment.

Just a reminder -- as tempting as it may be to post about the news in general, please keep the discussion about Adam. Thanks!
