Yeah, Joe Jonas was a WTH for me too...maybe he just wanted or needed airtime lol? Didn't they have Philly Mac as the same management for a while? May be they made a "connection" there. Edit: Oops I see that onetime already commented on it.

TSMGO is the gift that keeps on giving. Love re-watching it. But I still could have done with less of the AMA's inclusion. Not that they should have excluded it. But there was something about those two men (Nic and the ABC guy)describing in detail what Adam had done that was such a turnoff. Even when Nic (I think from Sirus) interviewed Adam for Velvet this year, he went on to describe in great detail what Adam had done at the AMA's. But he waited until after Adam left the really great interview. Why leave the audience with that impression after such a nice interview? And why does it seem to bother him so much 10 years later that he has to repeat the details to his listening audience? He almost sounds as if he was personally traumatized or offended by the acts or maybe his imagination took him places that Adam did not actually go, lol. But I found it annoying that he hijacked the interview after Adam left the room. Adam was there to promote Velvet not to answer for his so-called past sins. HA. If Nic felt too silly to say what he said to Adam's face then maybe he could have left it alone. And just accept that Adam has grown and moved on since that time. I remember that "Velvet" interview now and I too found it disappointing how Nic talked about the AMAs once Adam had left the room. Honestly, for me it stings every time when it's brought up, at varying degrees, as I remember how traumatizing the whole thing was for me given the fallout and all. That performance at the beginning of Adam's career as a recording artist clearly had an impact in one way or the other, and let's face it, it was more than just a kiss.

I too was traumatized by the fallout but I don't think the fallout is what upsets Nic. HA! Nic makes it clear every chance he gets that it was not the kiss that bothered him. And he is still bringing it up in detail, with horror I might add, 10 years later. GTFU dude!

The AMAS well always be part of his legacy. For better or for worse. Better embracing it. I wouldn't change it for thr world. He may have sacrificed commercial success in the States. But its the moment he was liberated and became Adam Lambert. I always felt if he just did a nice little Ballad. Be just another David Cook. Instead he became an international star.

Just gotta say, I always find your comments refreshing. They add tremendous value to our discussions in the bubble that we are all in. Adam did what he needed to do back then, and it has contributed to his journey and who he is now.
