Happy Birthday, Q3 - and thank you for maintaining Adamtopia which has been a great site for all things Adam
I just finished watching Adam's duet with Cynthia Erivo - and I'm always struck by his amazing talent and how he always pulls off these things so well. I feel that he's really hitting his stride now in so many ways and that he will be with us for a long time
And, I hope the same for Adamtopia - it's always a pleasure checking in here which I do almost every day!

Happy Birthday, Q3! It is Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada. One of the many, many things I am grateful for is Adamtopia, so thank you Q3! Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canucks! The turkey is cooking here for a very tiny gathering. I'm hoping that this time next year there will be more family and friends around the table.

Happy Thanksgiving Canadian Atopers!
The leaves are turning colours, I ate two pieces of chocolate cake today and Atop is alive and well. Thankful for all of it.

Right back at you, and to the other Canadian Atopers--Happy Thanksgiving 🍗 Two days of prep and the meal gone in less than an hour...haha! "Speaking of feasts" ...Terrance S*&@^#r posted pics of his birthday celebration in his IG. It is at Adam's home. Looks like it was catered...and having a heck of a good time! Everyone of Adam's friends must have the keys to his place! Haha This is the third time I remember his home being party central while away this trip. Someone has to be or should be checking on Adam's house anyway!

Cynthia (as well as Jhud) playing Aretha is a perfect example of an artist not needing to look just like or sound the same as an artist they portray in a movie. Not sure if Adam will ever get the opportunity to play another artist but he can't be ruled out by his fans because he does not look or sound exactly like someone else. When they cast the parts, I think it is more of if an artist can pull off the portrayal in a believable way and not because they are a carbon copy of the subject. There is no one that I want him to play in particular but would not rule him out because of looks or sound, if the opportunity presented itself. Cynthia and Adam were wonderful in the duet. I agree with everything you said regarding an actor not needing to look like the real life person they are playing. Cynthia Erivo is a great singer and actress, she’s won a Tony, an Emmy and a Grammy plus she’s been nominated for 2 Academy Awards. She is a very well trained artist. I think that giving Adam and her the duet to open the show shows how highly Adam and his incredible voice is viewed in the industry. As far as acting, he is wise, inmo to start with smaller acting roles to build to larger ones. Once he achieves some roles and gains confidence in what he can do as an actor, along with a good director, I think he’ll surprise everyone. HA! I agree with you as well. Smaller parts for Adam help to give him experience and possible other opportunities. There is no need to jump out there to try to carry a movie. Jhud won an Oscar on her first big role but that was really to be a Beyonce project and she was supporting. Jennifer just happened to steal the show, lol. Adam has done a great job with the smaller acting roles and eventually he may get larger supporting roles. When Jordin Sparks did the re-make of "Sparkle" she did an okay job as did Whitney Houston but it was the actress who played Sister who stood out, imo. And she was an actress with more experience under her belt.
