This guy, Bobak, is the inspiration for Adam's character in Moonbase 8. Btw the video is very calming..

Q3, thanks for sharing your interesting history our former VP. Seems like you really got to know him. I find him a decent, sincere, hard-working man with years of experience. I hope he is elected. My DH voted this morning. No line at all. He was back home in under ten minutes. BTW, he and I agree on our candidate. He just wanted to vote on *@#%$ Day. I voted early a few weeks ago. Hope the next few days go more smoothly than predicted. There is a lot at stake. I agree. It's wonderful to know that there is a politician who exhibits these traits.
No surprise for Oregon. We are all mail and Ronald Reagan was last Republican we voted for.

I voted early last week. Proud of my two grand children age 20 and 23 who also voted. My grandson has been so upset by this year of dishevel that he has declared a major of poli sci. Truly lit his fire. A positive for the future when our young adults get involved early and take action.

Texas may be exciting. I just want to turn one branch of the statehouse. That's all I'm asking. OK, maybe not ALL, but it would make me happy

If anyone is interested in following federal, state, local *@#%$s across the US, I found a very nicely done PDF which is quite inclusive. I am interested in many issues that are on ballots this year and also in down ballot *@#%$s because of the impact on daily lives. This will help me keep track of them all. whatsontheballot.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/*@#%$s-tracker-20201102.pdfOops, you will need to replace E.l.e.c.t.i.o.n (without the periods) for *@#%$ above.

I tried several times to early vote but the lines were sooo long and there was nowhere to park. I thought I had missed the mail in ballot but I found out I could still get a one. It came this weekend so I was able to get it mailed in time. I called the voting commission to see be sure if I mailed it Monday it would get there on time. They assured me the post office has to get ballots there on time. My daughter took today off in case I needed to go vote in person...and she will be glued to the tv watching everything all day and night.
Friday I had to go get covid tested because 4 people at work tested positive but I was negative. We have some stricter rules in place now. My daughter wants me to retire but I'm just not ready.
Love, love, loved Bad Moon Rising, Back in the day, I had a CCR 8 track tape that I played and played and played.
Well here hoping all these votes make a difference.

I lived in the US for 15 years, my heart hurts watching the unravelling of the social fabric over the past 4 years... hoping today "the tables will turn". To those in US breathe. and when that fails Vodka, or perhaps in honour of Adam that should be Tequila - the good stuff.
