It drives me crazy that a reporter from my home town is dragging up old "news". It's all about the music!!!!! Me too! I am from Milwaukee and I wanted to make a comment on the website but you can only do this if you have a subscription. I cancelled this rag several years ago and I am unwilling to throw money their way for this type of journalism. I was frustrated with the weekend highlight portion when the writer said "several" arena concerts and festivals with Queen since 2011. Several??? How about 66 and counting. Then he selects the 3 most overdone, outdated topics ever to include in his edited version of the interview: the AMA question, the Gay question, and then, "Why aren't you more successful?" I am embarrassed and saddened that Adam had to respond to this tripe. He didn't throw nearly enough shade at that interviewer if you ask me. But Adam is infinitely more gracious than me. OK, rant over. To end on a positive note, I am so looking forward to seeing TOHT on Tuesday. Adam was shown a lot of love at the Riverside during the Glamnation tour. I was lucky enough to be in the front row and witness a super sexy WLL encore with him splayed on the stairs. This will be the 1st concert since Idol performance and I am hoping to hear him perform WTTS!!! Well I'm in the 3rd row so you have it over me. Hope to hear WTTS, obviously, but sure would like the Lay Me Down/Shady/Fever bit. Love to see him dance. Oh heck; I want it ALL!!!

This will be the 1st concert since Idol performance and I am hoping to hear him perform WTTS!!! I feel so much better now. Rather than use the comment section, I sent him an email. Really, Pete? A new single, final appearance on American Idol, a successful solo tour in Asia and Australia/NZ, a summer festival Tour with Queen, a role in the upcoming Rocky Horror Picture Show on Fox....and your interview was about his sexuality! Who cares? This is about music. You are dragging up 7 year old stuff that doesn’t matter anymore. This is a man with an iconic voice; maybe just a little too good for the “pop” scene that competes with the likes of Swift, Bieber and other “auto tune” artists. This story makes Milwaukee look like a backwater town and I’m embarrassed by the comments I’m reading on the “boards” about this article. I’m a woman and I could care less that he is gay. I buy my concert tickets and music based on talent. Please focus on that in the future for other artists. I thought Adam’s response was very mature and gracious, by the way. Thank you. I feel much better now. (Then after I sent it, I realized his name is Piet). So sad, too bad.

"A. This isn't the Olympics, this is music. It's not about getting a medal, it's about moving people, it's about connecting with people. It's easy to get wrapped up in the business. It's not really why I got into it in the first place, so I like to keep my eye not on the prize, but on the experience of getting to create music. I'm very lucky."
Of course he wants great success, but for him to be able to answer the question with this beautiful response and to know that this is what he tries to keep in his heart and mind above all else....makes me just love him more. What a beautiful human. I found it interesting that Adam now feels the 'eye on the prize' isn't the ultimate for him anymore. Very cool. No wonder doors keep opening for him. It drives me crazy that a reporter from my home town is dragging up old "news". It's all about the music!!!!!

Wonder if he will put it in the 1st or 2nd section of TOHT? Doesn't fit in the 3rd section. I was wondering the same. I don't think he'll want to sing it in his suit so that only leaves the 1st section. (2 a.m. here, how I am supposed to sleep now?) And YES, YES, YES I get him in Milwaukee!! We'll find out then.

My thoughts are still spinning around after listening to this song ,in its entirety, only 3 times. Emotional overload, wanting Adam to be above all else, HAPPY. Yet these lyrics are so profound, and after listening to each and every song he has ever sung over the past 7+ years, watching his videos and interviews from all over the world, I feel like he has finally opened up his heart, mind and soul and threw it all right out there in front of us---while embracing us still, even in his utmost solitude and isolation. I can't decipher the quality of the music---I only know that his voice brings me to a higher place---and the combination of the music and lyrics is something I can't really find words to describe. That's probably why I'm circumventing any critique of this song. I will leave that to others, since I only want to gratefully accept the beautiful gift that this young man is to the world-and to me. As we all know, Brian said it best,"He is a gift to the world." In his own quiet moments, I truly hope that Adam finds his space to love and live the life he wants. He certainly deserves that and if he were my son, that would be my humble {and aching} prayer. What a beautiful statement; very well thought out. As the mother of 3 sons, I understand exactly what you mean.

Whoa! This is pure and raw vocal Adam. Full of power and range. I have had it on replay and I noticed that the repetition of the words and music of the chorus are like a mantra and it's having an hypnotic effect on me. The sound fills my head and I want to keep "feeling" that so I keep playing it. I haven't really experienced that too many times Absolute love it! This is a new style. I see you sneaking in there and posting for the first time. WELCOME! Thank you. Struggling to learn but can't help it. Too excited to care. I sure hope he does this song in Milwaukee.
