Thank you for your wonderful recap Animaldoc. It was great to meet you and your husband too at the Friday dinner (I was the lady sitting beside Mszue). So glad to hear you had such great shows and great seats, and mostly great fans around you!

Awesome recap Happy! You've covered our adventures in great detail!
It was great spending those 3 days with you and Mszue, and meeting other Atoppers at the Friday dinner, including Q3. While Bavette's Steakhouse at the MGM Park is pretty expensive, the food was very good and they really did accommodate our group. The exchange is a killer for us Canadians but we got to the point that it was just all part of the experience. The smoking in the casinos was definitely hard to take so we didn't spend anymore time there than needed. My trip home was a real let down after all the excitement of the shows, with major delays in both flights so that I arrived in Victoria at 12:30 am instead of 7:45 pm. Once we finally boarded the flight out of Vegas, we spend more than an hour on the runway waiting to take off as there were about 20 planes stacked up for takeoff, while planes were arriving every few minutes as well. No more airports for me for a while!
While videos are great, especially when we cannot be at the concerts, it still doesn't compare to Adam's voice live. So much power, warmth, beautiful tone, you really get immersed in him. Being so close you get to see all the little facial expressions and nuances of the outfits. I loved being so close at the end of the thrust the first night, the best seat I've ever had, but really almost had a more "full" experience the second night being back in section 304, row E, which was center stage so you got the full effect of the staging, the lighting, the sound wrapping around you. Not fun to have those 2 empty seats beside me, and a gentleman on the other side who never stood up until the final bows, didn't always applaud and did not seem to be into the show. Several folks in front of me also were very quiet. Most people stayed seated other than a few times, but many were just as much into the show. I did try my hand at a couple of videos from section 304, but am by no means an experienced videographer.
The fun and joy the whole band has on stage is so wonderful to behold, and I hope Brian & Roger will be able to keep it going for a while longer, as it seems to make them very happy.

I completely agree. Especially with the great seats we had, you become totally immersed in the show. Adam’s voice just sounds so much richer live, hard as that is to believe. We had a lovely Atop dinner, organized by Mszue before the show, and it was a pleasure to put some faces to the names on this board. Bavette’s Steakhouse is expensive but food was very good and plentiful, and they really accommodated our group. Also wanted to mention that the merchandise shop just outside the theatre was actually open mid-afternoon when we decided to check on the off change that it might be, and there was no one there so easy shopping. Show 2 coming up today, can’t wait - and it won’t be enough of course! Posted my pictures on facebook but don’t know how to get a link over here.

As we (Mszue, Happy & Fiercelier)fly to Vegas tomorrow, we still have 2 tickets available. As we are from Canada we cannot sell them through ticketmaster, but we can transfer them and collect the money by meeting up or through PayPal.
These are great seats for Saturday the 15th: Section 101, Row M, seats 2 & 3. Purchased at $321 US + service fees, but we would sell them at $321 or reasonable offer. These seats are in the last row of the section, right at the end of the thrust, on Brian's side.

Such a fun topic this morning..wish I could play. I grew up in Germany with my grandmother...we had no TV until I was almost 10. We didn't have a record player, so no celebrity crushes for me. We listened to the radio a lot, and I loved music, but did all my own singing lol. My first crush was a bit different. I started reading in 1st grade, and was a voracious reader at a very early age. When I was about 7 or so I discovered a series of books by Karl May, a German writer. He wrote about the adventures of an Indian named Winnetou and his white blood brother. I fell in love with Winnetou and his horse, and vowed at that age to someday marry a Native American....true story. I came to America when I was 12, and discovered my Dad's country music record collection....johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr, etc. I wasn't a big TV watcher, still a reader...no celebrity crushes. I was a weird kid, very much a loner and an introvert....no concerts....way too many people. I did however meet my Native American dream...in the form of my blonde husband lol...he has Native American ancestors on both his Mom's and Dad's sides... Weird kid. I don't post very often but had to comment on your post svca. I grew up in the Netherlands until we moved to Canada when I was 13 and our neighbour had all the Karl May books. I LOVED the Winnetou and Old Shatterhand books, read them all. Boy, a blast from the past. Our neighbours moved to Canada too, a few months after us. As I'm here, wanted to let you all know that we have 2 tickets for Vegas, Sept. 15, section 101, row M, seats 2 + 3, available. This is right at the end of the thrust and there are only 3 seats in this row. Seat 1 was just taken by an Atopper. I remember my first album, Herman's Hermits Greatest Hits, but for the life of me I can't remember my first concert. Don't even remember going to one until out of my teens I think. Paul McCartney was definitely my first crush.

3 tickets for sale for the Crown Jewels, Saturday September 15 show: Section 101, Row M, seats 1-3. Row M is the last row of section 101 and only has 3 seats in the row. It puts you level with the end of the thrust.
Mszue, Happy and I have the same seats for the Friday show and with the US exchange for us Canadians it just gets so expensive, so we're downgrading the one night. US cost for the 3 is $1,133.53 including all fees and they can be transferred via Ticketmaster.
