For once I turned off my computer early last night, and missed the last dozen pages or so of this thread. I have no personal experience with any of the issues discussed and consider myself fortunate in that regard. Reading all the wonderful insightful posts from so many of you, I actually think you are the fortunate ones, because your lives are the richer for having had to deal with these disabilities in your lives, be they your own or with a family member. Thank you so much for sharing your personal situations and teaching us about tolerance and understanding.
Big hugs to you all!

Seoulmate, sending you a big hug and many happy memories of your Mom. Positive energy to you too Wal, very scary what happened to your son. And Gelly, sending you strength in whatever you're dealing with.
It'll be interesting to see if the dynamics in the group of friends that Adam belongs to changes, with children now coming into the picture. It doesn't look like it so far, so the ties are tight and supportive, which is wonderful to see.

Finally caught up! Of course Adam would have a twitter party when I'm out for the evening, so it took me until this morning to catch up! It warms my heart that he's in love and happy and feeding his soul. Beautiful thought!
Ups and downs on the forum today, much joy and some sadness too. Bamafan[/b, great to see you back online! Catz so happy for you that you have the all clear. Seoulmate very sad to hear about your mother and wishing you much strength to get through this and hope it will be a peaceful end for your mom.
Another great one NoAngel! I don't post a lot but so admire all of you articulate and talented women and men. I learn a lot here every day!

Yep, I'm in Canada and was able to view it. Guess it will be added to my daily list, as it got him great exposure last year when he both won and performed. When is the Montreal concert? Maybe around the same time?

GAH, FABULOUS!! How can he get more fabulous looking each time we see him! Love, love the look AND the jacket AND the necklace! But the best part is that he just radiates joy and happiness, as does Sauli. So happy for them, and so happy for us!

Checking in very late, but Momtomany, wanting to give you a big hug and wishing you strength for a tough day tomorrow. I too have been there several times and while you know you've made the right decision it is going to take some time to get over the grieving and be able to concentrate on the happy memories you have of Cameo. The Rainbow Bridge always makes me cry.
