Exhausting conversations on what to do about ADAM... I am a fan for ten years now and as much as I have always believed that Adam is the best and the most of any singer/entertainer out there, there are others in the world who have other favorites.Just how it is. IMHO,Adam is trying ,for his mental well being ,to get off the gerbil wheel of who is the best and who sells the most.Maybe he is TRYING to be happy with the major success he has achieved and to put less pressure on himself. He wrote us a very emotional letter about his time of depression and gave us a beautiful song. Now he is throwing tons of pictures at us.. What Do some Want from Him??? Personally I just want him to be happy and fulfilled and to live a very long fruitful life... He owes me nothing .. It's his life to live as he sees fit. Too many major stars end up either in deep depression or dead from this wonderful world called show business. Thank you, Melliemom. So we’ll said. Just like he said a decade ago...I’d like Adam to keep giving us what we didn’t know we wanted! For me, on TV as often as possible!! 😁

Finally saw Bohemian Rhapsody today. The parts centered around the music were stellar! I really enjoyed the entire movie, but I also really appreciate Talon's "fact check" list. It's probably inevitable that some of the movie seemed melodramatic. They tried to squish so much of Freddie's life into a small amount of time. I'm glad they went the direction they did. There were many teens/ children in the audience.
i tried to see the movie yesterday, but two scenes into it, emergency lights flashed and sirens went off! A recorded voice instructed us on an emergency and told us to proceed calmly to the nearest exit. The crowd exited calmly (mostly) but when we didn't hear any signs of emergency, we all circled around to the front of the building to be let back in! Lol, some almost pressed their faces up to the glass. We REALLY wanted to see this movie!! The staff could not fix what was probably a computer error, so we all got vouchers instead. I recognized a few faces returned to the theater today.
Finally, here's a viral video of perhaps the youngest rendition of BoRap ever! This movie is destined for success!
Almost forgot! Adam's cameo was much bigger than I thought! I think I would have recognized him without knowing. (Or perhaps it chalk it up to the "seeing Adam everywhere" phenomenon!)

Hi all! I haven't posted in a long time, but I am here everyday. Special thanks to Q3, pi and all you regular contributors for YEARS of fun.
I was one of many Chicagoland Glamberts at the United Center last night. I thought I'd write a recap since I enjoy reading them.
I'll begin with the obvious:
Adam Lambert is a very sexy man.
There I said it. I may be "old" but I am not dead! 😊 Also, remember when Adam said, "Glitter is dead to me"? Well, Lordy, Lordy there's been a resurrection! Each costume was "sparkly-er" as the show went along, especially the sleeveless t-shirt with the wings. My eye had no problem following Adam as he prowled the stage.
Other posters have pointed out that everyone is so happy at this concert...the performers, the crowd, and even security, lol. This is my overall impression as well. In fact, I was grinning like a loon the entire time. The terrible traffic both to and from the United Center could not bring me down. (Of course, my wonderful husband was driving.) But beyond the sheer joy we experienced, Brian, Roger, Adam and everyone associated with this concert should be so proud! The concert was so tight, the pacing crisp and the lighting/special effects phenomenal. Beyond this, Queen's legacy is very much alive. Their life's work a cherished part of the soundtrack of so many people's lives. Adam must be proud of the way he can win over the audience every single night. The fact that this is necessary is a tribute to the Queen legacy and Adam's unique talent.
I'll close with yet another example of Adam winning over the audience, one Queen fan at a time. The guy seated directly behind me was singing the lyrics to "Hammer to Fall", so he knows his Queen. (Perhaps not the same tune as was sung on stage, but my pitch control is not so great, either. 😏) Anyway, during Adam's "I am not Freddie" speech, my neighbor was saying things like " That's right. You'll never be Freddie. Freddie forever". Next thing I know, this same guy was singing along with "Two Fux" by the second chorus! Go figure! I guess the on screen lyrics were irresistible. By the reprise of "We will Rock You" he was saying "You did. You did that good, son!"
It's all good indeed. Meeting challenges head on...smiling most of the way...may be Adam's greatest talent of all.

I am so excited and happy about Adam's new mv. I love everything about him and everything he's done, tbh, but to me this mv represents him so perfectly because he looks and sounds out of this world singing, and the stories are all about connection and how that universal longing for connection should enable us all to relate to and be kind to each other. I love the looks Adam gives to his audience members as individuals, the fun he has dancing with them, even his patience at the stares. I just think that is truly him. And I love the absolute sweetness Gigi conveys, happy for the couple who finds love while she waits for hers. Come to think of it, I think each character is showcasing a quality I love in Adam: Gigi's sweetness, club dancer's sexiness, showgirl's throw-back kind of classy-ness. The honesty, the light touch, the sexiness, the fact that Adam is the Las Vegas lounge singer (a "future" I have literally seen haters predict for him) is all SOO perfect and clever, to me. Even the way the other characters are given the spot-light to shine bright, and I think each of them really, really do is so Like Adam to me, who loves team-work. And the puppy dog/crotch shot - seksai and sweet. That is also so Adam to me. Ok, I'm done - just really wanted to express how much I LOVE this mv. What a great first post, brgdt! So insightful, thank you! I especially like the visual pointing out that the puppy/crotch shot characterizes the paradox of Adam well...very sexy and very sweet at the same time. lol! Three posts in two days for me...the only good part about being home with a cold.

This exclusive means the iHeart stations, 100+, get to gave it on their sites for a certain amount of hours. GT had an exclusive with Entertainment Tonight, which IMO, was not a good exclusive! The iHeart stations are already starting to tweet out the link! It means hits & money for the stations plus great exposure to kickstart the video! It is a good thng! Oh! It also shows that iHeart is still supporting Adam's music! This worked well with my twenty-something daughter. She knew all about the video when we talked this morning. How? From the Chicago station she always listens to while getting ready and going to work! Of course, I pretended I was hearing about it for the first time...NOT! She likes the song and the video, even though she is not a Glambert like me.

Thank you, satisfied! I love this video. Touching story lines, and Adam looks great...even in comparison to the skateboarder/ stripper. And, it is not even midnight!

I could hear the rock/Queen version influencing Adam's delivery tonight. I liked it! But Seth would have been better off interviewing Adam, rather than that lame "comedy" sketch that preceded Adam's performance.

Did you see the shots of the ladies of The Talk watching Adam sing? They are in love!

Which is worse: admitting that I fell asleep and missed the Late Late show or admitting that I've watched Adam sing a reinvented WATC at least 10 times? Who sings like that for a comedy sketch? Wake up SNL! Thanks to everyone here for posting all the goodies. You are the reason I never log out!

I just loved reading this interview while bingeing on Adam's album...especially the question about being overruled in "discussions". I can just imagine the give and take in deciding which songs made the cohesive regular album with the compromise of allowing Adam to go a little crazy with the bonus tracks. That said... I love the bonus tracks!!! 'These Boys' is such a fun listen AND a powerful anti-bullying empowerment song as well. The "listen to the radio and let it go" line reminds me of Adam's "force-field up" advice when dealing with bullies.
