I, too, appreciate GLITTER'S insightful post. I think Adam is a frontman, though, simply because he wants to be! He loves being included in something bigger. (I do agree, though, that Adam on the stage by himself is enough for me.) I remember him saying that he still feels like an outsider among his musical peers. I would not be at all surprised if his talent intimidates other performers. I see him as gracious at all times to the people with whom he shares the stage, but only a few up-and-comers (Idols) or the best (Queen, Nile) dare to do so.
I see you down there, newlizzie! WELCOME!

No, belle, but thanks for trying. # 7 on the link redpanda posted has Adam and Brian both facing each other, mouths open, Adam with his tongue out. What's not to like?

Hey talon! Now that I have your attention I'd like to thank you ( and Q3 ) for your informative Queen posts. I studied up between Chicago and Las Vegas. I enjoyed the concerts more, and was able to appear more "talonted" than I really am to a Queen fan near me at LV1. After I sang all the words to "Love of my Life," he turned to me and said, "I thought your were a Glambert." I said I was a Glambert, then admitted to my studies and invited him to check out Adam's music. His face was priceless when he said, "I don't like pop", but I managed to say " It's not all pop, try "Running," before I lost him forever. Baby steps, baby steps...

That is one beautiful shot of a beautiful man - wow Lol, Cassie, Adam reads here, or at least looks at the pictures. The proof is in his tweet.

I'm kind of with cassie on this. At least his objection was thoughtful. Weird but he clearly was working through something. I am mystified though that playing music live isn't considered "art"? Especially when you've written the damn songs, or you're bringing them to life. A head scratcher. I feel that this reviewer was working through something, too. Reminds me of the back and forth reasoning I overheard from the three guys behind me as I exited Las Vegas 2. Perhaps the conflict is caused by the fact that Adam really is quite good...Freddie good.
Lol, midwifespal, almost missed your wonderfully long recap... and it's right above me! Thank you! I especially liked your observations about Adam's smile.

Really appreciated the rant by The Real Wizard from queenlive, especially his use of the word "Boolean" for all us math geeks. (I know you are there!) Also loved the review by Joey Guerra. I have to disagree with his statement..."(Lambert) has yet to achieve a truly signature sound". Adam never will have a single signature sound. He is too versatile, likes to change it up too much, and defies categorization. The rest of the world will just have to catch up with Adam Lambert. His signature, his name is and will be synonymous with excellence.

Great essay, Q3, thank you. Already sent it to DH, and he liked it, too. So informative ...the link should be shared everywhere (except Members Only) .
