1. Now Trending 2. Dirty, Hot, Smoking Piece of Man 3. Just in Boots (Imagine THAT picture!) Your #2 made me think of this 2010-03-10 NOVA radio interview video from Melbourne, AU. You are so right! I should have given props to the Aussie radio interviewer. Unforgettable, like the writer who dubbed Adam "Cheekie Genie". There's another title for you!

As for fanwars, it was all a revelation me that they existed, when I started stanning Adam. I didn't even know there were online boards devoted to discussion and analysis of reality shows and talent competitions, LOL. I quickly learned that I don't have the stomach for the fanwars on mixed boards. But then I've never liked competitive sports, either. I have to think that the heavily-invested, online contingent of both AI and Adam's fanbase is very small in comparison to the whole. I remember being shocked that most of the fans I encountered at concerts were not online at all. Like, WUTTT, you don't have a Twitter account???? And then I remember all the other artists I absolutely adore, whose albums I happily buy. But I haven't the foggiest idea what they are up to on a daily basis, nor do I really care, lol. Doesn't mean I won't buy their next album. I think our perception is way skewed. When I first fell (literally) into Adam fandom, I was like a kid in a candy store. All the boards...so much info. I soon realized how insular things were, though. I pulled back because the negativity was making me feel so bad. Discovering Planet Fierce/Adamtopia was wonderful. My perception was skewed in a good way. Diverse, articulate opinions all united by love of Adam and his positivity. Such fun! And as someone pointed out recently...I would trust many of you in "real life". Blog on!

Re: fan wars Anyone on the thread an anthropologist/sociologist? It is instinctive or genetic for humans to think in terms of black/white, on/off, good/bad, yes/no, win/lose? Simple binary opposite functions? Or is this something that is characteristic of western culture? American culture? European culture? I don't know where this drive to pit one person against another, to pick one person or panother, to support one person or another, to degrade one person over the other...where does it come from? Seems absurd to me. Why do we have to pick between apples and oranges? Or as I said a while back, apples and celery??? I'm not a sociologist, but I am a teacher of young children. What you have described is classic childish thinking! No matter what age they are, some people do not seem to grow up. JMO. YMMV Of course, I admit to enjoying some shallow-end 12-year-old thinking on occasion.

4 - 5 AM Chicago time is my favorite time to stan. Wow! Seven pages of "live", not memorex. I always enjoy you posts Zinnea, but you have outdone yourself today. Thanks!!
If Adam keeps this up, my 2,000,000 guess will be invalid. I kinda hope the correct date is among the most optimistic again.

If Adam is in NYC right now, I can understand his appreciation for 88 degrees. It is rainy, very windy, and 45 degrees in Manhattan right now. It's SNOWING in Chicagoland right now. Arg! (I guess pirate is contagious.)

Good morning all!
Early, early morning is my favorite time to catch up on threads.
I'm not too concerned about Adam's tweet. He's probably just doing his taxes!
ADAMTOPIA!
P.S. I really enjoy the Finnish Adamtopians. Thanks for the translations!!
