Shoshanna has been working her butt off. Let's all remember that there are natural limitations in place. Adam is not an established artist in the UK at all; and he is not super huge in the US so that the UK embraces him easily (like they did the likes of Katy Perry, etc). No publicist can work miracles.
The collaboration with Queen is fantastic publicity and his UK team has been running with it (being somewhat familiar with the world of PR, I can tell you that many of these great high-profile interviews Adam got in the UK were probably due to a large extent to his connection with Queen). But while amazing, the Queen connection is just a piece of the puzzle, and it's not about Adam's own music, either. It takes time to build an image, and sometimes it's successful, and other times it's not. It's just the way it goes. Sometimes there is nobody to blame.

I guess I've always wondered why everyone thinks Shoshana has done such a great job -- cuz she's on twitter? She's always been a tease and, frankly, her tweet yesterday about Glamberts "doing their job" pissed me off. No, Shoshana, do your job and find NEW fans for Adam -- his Glamberts are already on board. Say what? She's doing great I think Shoshana is working her little buns off and doing a great job for Adam; besides her official capacity, I think of her as Adam's head cheerleader in the U.K. She keeps the communications open as well. I, for one, love her teasing - she brings a lot of fun to the whole thing. She is amazing. :Clap: |

In my view, Adam is doing quite well, all things considered. Most importantly, the label seems willing to keep investing in him, and he (Adam) appears incredibly confident that plenty of good things are still to come - remember his statements "This is just the beginning" that he made a couple of times recently. He knows way more than we do, so I choose to believe him.

I think she's just pushing as much as she can, to make sure that we are doing everything that we can. That's her job in a way, to rally the glamberts, and I think she's done a pretty good job of it. I don't worry about it too much either way though, so I don't lose sleep over it or anything. See the post I just made about believing things are fine. |

Don't get me wrong I think things are fine too and we're doing our very best, but I hate seeing people upset on Twitter cause we can't meet Shosh's requests. The way she keeps reminding everyone makes them think that top 10 is a make or break thing and that we're failures if we don't get Adam up there, but that's not true at all! |

For all the ones who donated and helped/helping: I think we already made a difference, helping Adam get that #12 on the mid-week chart for NCOE and #3 for TresP. I have no doubt part of that was organic (UK press, Capital FM radion play helped), but part of it was also our efforts, and it's pretty cool. Yes, ideally we shouldn't have to do this, but a) All fan groups do this type of shit b) Adam needs a bit more help because he is not yet super established. Feel free to help with some of these efforts or not. I definitely do not help with everything, I do not have the time. But this was kinda cool, and it was a big FUCK YOU to US radio (which pisses me off, and there is no explanation for it in my opinion), so I helped. ETA: nationalglampoon, I don't pay too much attention to what people say on twitter, especially when they're overly negative. Negativity can really snowball in a group situation, and I choose to stay out of it, personally. Once something shiny and pretty happens, people are usually over it. |
