I just wonder where the song will be in a week or two weeks if the chart results are not "authentic." That is what I mean by long-run. Is this type of process the norm in the UK? Are fans routinely asked by an artist's management to go to such extremes to try to manufacture a position on the chart. And I say this as someone who really thinks Shoshana is awesome. I just find this whole experience really bizarre. And that's all I will say because my intent is not to tick people off. eta---I do not believe anyone said the song was a failure. That is certainly not the case. At all. I will say, it has yet to be a hit anywhere---and that can't be helping the situation in the UK. I guess I've always wondered why everyone thinks Shoshana has done such a great job -- cuz she's on twitter? She's always been a tease and, frankly, her tweet yesterday about Glamberts "doing their job" pissed me off. No, Shoshana, do your job and find NEW fans for Adam -- his Glamberts are already on board. Isn't she the one that gets him so many interviews, etc. in the UK?

Lots of musicians get hate comments once they 'make' it. Bieber has been getting it for years, haha and of course the radio plays him because he is a heartthrob at the moment. Then there is gaga, tons of hate under her videos. Madonna same thing. So ignore the spew. IT's just small minded people looking for a reaction and they often get one.
I am focusing on spreading positive vibes. Adam does this as well, everyone who has met him has said he is 'just lovely'. (LOL He uses that word to describe stars hes met)

No sort of thanks for our efforts, just basically telling us to work harder every day and being like "YO GLAMBERTS WHAT'S THE HOLDUP" whenever NCOE stalls or drops. Not sure what she expects, we can't exactly do blackflips through hoops and her comments aren't helping :dunno:

Can Adam Lambert Save “American Idol?” – No and Here’s Why…www.zoiksonline.com/2012/07/can-adam-lambert-save-american-idol-no.htmlTwo comments: "It’d make sense for him to be a judge, but why would anybody tune in to see him be a judge. He’s an amazing performer/singer, why would anybody prefer watching him talk instead of performing and making music?"-- Because AFL saying words is still fucking hot. "If anything being a judge on “American Idol” would help his career more so than he’d help the show..."-- I'm ok with that.

I'm not an expert on how UK radio works, but has NCOE been given enough airplay for it to catch on organically? Is Capital airplay enough to drive sales in a big way? Just wondering whether it is too soon to declare NCOE a failure at this point. Maybe nationalglampoon or one of our other UK peeps can provide some perspective. Thoughts? One day and It's a failure??? some songs take years to connect and then become classics.. Talk about our throw away culture. There is no failure here .. there is only some who have heard the song and some who have not, some who like it and some who don't .. where is the failure?? It wasn't my intention at all to call NCOE a failure!!!! I only said that I can't connect to the song and hope that others DO connect to it. And the difficulty of making a song a hit is really unbelievable. Maybe we should ask Brian for the recipe - because I think it's almost as complicated as astrophysics...

I think shoshanna knows how hard Adam's fans work for him time and time again.. so she was just going with what we do anyway. I think shoshanna has been excellent.Adam has gotten a tremendous amount of good press,TV and whatever else Shoshanna does in the UK. I wish she could clone herself and come to the U.S. She always seems nice and kind when fans write to her. she answers most questions,So what if she's a bit of a tease sometimes , That's her sense of humor and levity is nice once in a while.I know I need an occassional laugh ,it's been a bit of a frustrating roller coaster ride lately. Do you remember ED and what a trip he was... She's an angel IMHO.
