you say so what like you really don't understand how this entire campaign undermines Adam's credibility. The whole thing reeks of desparation IMO and a total lack of confidence in Adam's music and his ability to connect with non-hardcore fans. Add in the fact that the campaign as been all anyone has talked about for days and that means everyone knows that whatever position he gets was manufactured and not any real evidence that he's become better known within the UK. I'd have rather seen REAL first week sales to know how the PR in the UK and the Queen concerts were helping his visibility and then perhaps do a push in week 2. Would you rather have him not chart at all? By doing this more people will be aware of him in the UK. Anyway, you're entitled to your opinion maybe I'm an odd duck but I'd rather Adam succeed (or fail) on his own merits not due to some artifical campaign driven by well meaning but over invested fans who feel like it's their job to fix things for him. If he has to work harder then let him work harder. If it doesn't happen overnight then it just doesn't. What will happen next week is that the album will tumble down the charts (just like it did in the U.S.) and that could make the news and then what?

Well that DDD forum has fallen into a mess, IMO. Because of a couple of Adam fans who hijacked the old site with no knowledge of technical singing and listmaking criteria which is what the forum was supposed to be about. They didn't even know the frontmen Adam was being listed with. So basically whatever they say is only representative of about 5 people anymore. Unfortunately I have to totally agree with you here. I used to enjoy lurking at the DDD forum before it got stampeded by, um, excessively exuberant Adam Lambert fans. There were a fair number of original DDD posters who actually appreciated Adam's vocals and frequently commented on his singing, and with respect. It was quite a welcome surprise when they ranked Adam so highly on a couple of their lists before the invasion. Some of those same original posters either ignore Adam now, or go so far as to make critical or dismissive comments about him just to tweak the few "Glamberts" who camp out there.

Hey talon kind of OTT but is Queen notorious for being late? Like Adam? Just wonderin' From what I've read, concerts starting late are more the rule than the exception. I went to the Jacksons' Victory Tour at Dodger stadium back in 1984. It was at least an hour late getting started.
