Hey talon kind of OTT but is Queen notorious for being late? Like Adam? Just wonderin' Yes. They're strategy has always been to build anticipation For the QPR tour in 05 the lights dimmed a bit and they played the whole 22+ minute Track 13 (bonus ambient track on Made In Heaven), But it worked, by the time the curtain dropped the crowd was in a frenzy

NoAngel @noangelpf RT @outsideedgepr: Literally just walked into Sir Bob Geldof. Crikey! I couldn't even get 'sorry' out.

Well that DDD forum has fallen into a mess, IMO. Because of a couple of Adam fans who hijacked the old site with no knowledge of technical singing and listmaking criteria which is what the forum was supposed to be about. They didn't even know the frontmen Adam was being listed with. So basically whatever they say is only representative of about 5 people anymore. This is so true. In addition, maybe a year or more ago, a bunch of the member "experts" revealed themselves to be teenagers and young men in their early 20's. Certainly they are welcome to their opinions, but most of them are not really seasoned experts or musicians. The Adam thread is of little value to me even though I read it sometimes when there is nothing happening on Atop. Whatever. I don't think dismissing them out of hand due to their age is appropriate. I doubt the median age of this forum (or musical expertise of ladies who admit they've never listened to top 40) qualifies anyone to be experts either. The DDD posters where knowledgeable and could back up their opinions thoughtfully and rationally and could give specific performance references. It was a highly intelligent forum with some great people on it but now it's a mess. Ironically, I wandered over to the Queen forum not to long ago and I see the same thing happening there. Glamberts invaded and now it's nothing but fighting. Shame too because ultimately that only serves to turn people off to Adam.

Sir Bob Geldof is a singer with the Boomtown Rats...but more importantly he is known for being the guy behind Live Aid in 1985. He created the concept and invited the bands, etc. Amazing amazing man.
