It's late, but I want to post a few random thoughts.
1. When they called that lighting set-up The Oven, they weren't kidding. But it was fabulous.
2. A Queen concert is one big sing-a-long and they even brought the campfire. No, really there was fire and it was fabulous.
3. The videos do not do the Blonde's jacket justice. That shoulder bling sparkles like diamonds and when Adam shakes his shoulder, glitter light streams everywhere. The jacket is fabulous.
4. So you guys are calling the red jacket, Elmo. LOL. That was the first time I saw it and he did the wave with his arms and it was so lulzy. Did I mention it was fabulous.
5. The best comment I heard on the train was a couple of Queen guys who were surprised how young Adam sounded and then one said, "Can you imagine how he will sound in ten years?" The other guy replied, "Unbelievable!!!!" And he really said it with all those exclamation points.
6. The concert was fabulous and unbelievable and I can't wait until tomorrow to do it all over again.

QueenBert was a slice of rock n roll heaven! No words can adequately describe how I am feeling right now. So just a couple of things before I forget.
Peter, a Belgian guy who sat next to me is a huge Queen fan and knew all the songs. He was at Wembley and really loves Freddie and Queen. I asked him what he knew of Adam. He said that Adam was good and he had watched the Kiev concert but no one could replace Freddie. Told him Adam would agree and he is not trying to replace FM but he wanted to pay homage and also told him I am amazed that many Queen fans are hating not only on Adam but also on Brian and Roger. He agreed and could not understand why they would prefer the music to die with Freddie. He believes they are not real fans. Very nice gentleman and very open minded. He was having a great time dancing and screaming his head off. When Adam sang WWTLF, people got a little quieter and all of a sudden, Peter gave me a huge hug, gave me the OK sign and said, "you have every right to be so proud of your guy!" Happy tears!!!!

YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING!!!! CAN THIS EVEN BE REAL????????? THIS MAN IS BEYOND ANY DESCRIPTION. I don't think I've ever quoted or commented on a picture here before, but this is unfuckingbelievably amazingly gorgeous. How do you save a picture and where do you save it to? Never done it before. Don't want to ave to keep going back to page 63 in this thread when I want to see it. |
