QueenBert was a slice of rock n roll heaven! No words can adequately describe how I am feeling right now. So just a couple of things before I forget. Peter, a Belgian guy who sat next to me is a huge Queen fan and knew all the songs. He was at Wembley and really loves Freddie and Queen. I asked him what he knew of Adam. He said that Adam was good and he had watched the Kiev concert but no one could replace Freddie. Told him Adam would agree and he is not trying to replace FM but he wanted to pay homage and also told him I am amazed that many Queen fans are hating not only on Adam but also on Brian and Roger. He agreed and could not understand why they would prefer the music to die with Freddie. He believes they are not real fans. Very nice gentleman and very open minded. He was having a great time dancing and screaming his head off. When Adam sang WWTLF, people got a little quieter and all of a sudden, Peter gave me a huge hug, gave me the OK sign and said, "you have every right to be so proud of your guy!" Happy tears!!!! NOW I HAVE HAPPY TEARS!! THANKS FOR THAT LOVEY VIGNETTE |

Talon, can't tell you how much dimension your Queen expertise has added here...so much thank you. I will confess that Adam's EMA version of TSMGO is one of my all-time favorite Adam songs, so to have it just sung by Brian made me WTF for a minute. But given the context, it MAKES SENSE and is a wonderfully sensitive way to honor Freddie's memory while still..going on. So to speak. None too sure about the Daily Telegraph guy but maybe he walked in with attitude and begrudgingly came around a bit toward the end? And Swarm? This RuPaul: “My goal is to always come from a place of love, but sometimes you just have to break it down for a motherfucker" MADE MY WEEK. I may have to turn it into a cross-stitch or something. And I do.not.craft.  Noreaster I am a cross stitcher and I'm going to have to stitch that for sure!! ;D |

I don't think I've ever quoted or commented on a picture here before, but this is unfuckingbelievably amazingly gorgeous. How do you save a picture and where do you save it to? Never done it before. Don't want to ave to keep going back to page 63 in this thread when I want to see it. Sugaree... Just do right-click-save to your own computer for now. Then we'll deal with photobucket later!! |
