Tommy Joe Ratliff hit the motherlode. As a shit-kicker mediocre musician, not only was he hired by Adam Lambert for a USA/World tour, (because he had "the look", lets be honest) but he has also won the friendship of virtuoso Monte Pittman who is the source of many gigs in the off times. Many believe that he deserves accolades because he played the role of Adam's "sex object" for the tour, but does anyone really believe that Tommy would never have complied with that, especially with his fluid sexuality , at times he seems more gay than Adam. Tommy may not be on the next tour, but 2010/11 has served him very well so far. IMO I'm not some Adam tommy shipper but am feeling the need to defend his and adam's honor here. I doubt mediocre musicians would have ever made it in front of Adam let alone hired. And I'm sure his looks played a part in getting the job but imagine it was a combination of skill/looks/attitude. having watched Adam and Tommy's interactions throughout GNT the word compliant seems to make both Adam and Tommy out as something other than two guys who looked like they were having a blast on stage living out their mutual Velvet Goldmine fantasy. Yes, he was lucky and acknowledges that fact but I think we all were lucky that Adam put together such a fun dynamic crew that made the tour so much fun. |

? I didn't get it.. I won't be watching DWTS next Tues Or whatever day it airs.. I just won't watch it next week just to be safe.... that will be my way of protesting.. I am truly sick of CB and Charlie Sheen too. |

I would assume Adam is going because he's a huge fan. And, it would be rude to keep your guest at home, no?  You are probably right, but you are "following Adam's lead" which would be the proper way to do it, IMO. Bad bad me - I did sign and wish him a Happy Birthday. But I'm following my own lead anyway, since I've known about Sauli since 2007 like quite a few other Finns who signed that card too, some in Finnish and some in English. Sauli does have his own fans and friends, not everything in his life is or has been with Adam to do. He has lived almost 26 years without Adam, and is a person of his own with his own life too. Edit. did write more but edited it away. Back to lurk hoping for a better tomorrow.He is a person of his own and that is what made me fall in love with him too. He is full of personality. I have been watching Big Brother for many years and that is one of the things that is special about Sauli for me. Even though I can't understand the language, the videos tell me that he won the game with kindness, something quite unusual for that game. I hesitated to sign that card, but I'm glad I did. I hope I might just have made someone's day a little brighter. |

Honestly...I just do not see the benefits of some fans deriding and denigrating other fans preferred ways of stanning. It is not my business whether someone signs a b'day card for Sauli or not...and it certainly not appropriate to go 'ewww' to them if it is not my preferred way of stanning. And I really do not think it rates a page or two of this forum. Sorry....I know we all tend to do it before thinking but I really wish it weren't so egg-shelly to be a fan on this board....there is always somebody being shot down....sigh... And I know I do it too so I resolve to try to be more like our BB and less like my mother!! sigh sigh sigh... Bravo!! Well said!! ;D ;D ;D ;D  |

This makes me sad.  bradwalsh Wasn't allowed to sign for a certified letter for @csiriano today at home because we aren't a married couple. Little things. Daily.
