I missed most of the Sauli birthday discussion, but for what it's worth, I wish everybody happy birthday when I hear it's their birthday. That includes casual Twitter follower/followees, etc.
I don't say it to every celebrity I follow unless they make reference to it being their b-day. I did wish Michael Sarver happy b-day today and I barely pay attention to what he's up to, but he always seems like such a nice guy and he's so appreciative of his Twitter followers.
IF Sauli had a Twitter and I followed him, I would say Happy Birthday. I did not, however, tweet Adam to say HB to S. I didn't see the card, but I rarely sign those things because they have you jump through so many hoops in order to sign.
IMO, no one needs to apologize for sending anyone good wishes or validate why they did so. If someone wants to try to trend and I'm not into it, I don't participate. I don't begrudge their right to do so.
From everything I've seen, Sauli is absolutely sweet and adorable. I thoroughly enjoy the vast majority of people I've been "introduced to" through Adam. I still follow all the band and dancers, the Cherrys, Neil, Eber, Cheeks, etc. and wouldn't hesitate to congratulate them on new ventures or good fortune, consider helping their causes or send them birthday greetings.

Whoa! So many fans of Tommy on this post who thnk he is outstanding. Once again, Tommy is very lucky. Glad he is entertaining so many, wish him nothing b ut the best.
