Sutan just said that Adam is a very talented make-up artist in his own right. He said that Adam has said if he hadn't gone into music performance he would be interested in becoming a make-up artist. I didn't know that. Didn't he once work at a cosmetic counter?

This afternoon we were discussing the use of Adam's image and I pointed out that Adam's image is copyrighted. So no one need put their names or symbols on acquired pictures b/c it is meaningless. Even if you take the picture yourself, you have limited use of that picture. Here is the license agreement from Wire Image. No one need be telling you that you have to give them (the blogger) credit. The agreement clearly states that property rights are not transferred. And it looks to me that the credit is to be given to Wire Image, not the blog owner. www.wireimage.com/help.aspx?sk=HelpBuyers#LicenseAgreement

Hi all. Asking for some positive vibes out to the universe again. I'm having a basel cell removed from my face tomorrow, followed up by plastic surgery to hopefully keep me from looking like a freak. Send those thoughts out for me 'cause I'm a little nervous and scared. Good Luck! They can do wonderful things these days! I know all will be well!!

Tommy Joe Ratliff hit the motherlode. As a shit-kicker mediocre musician, not only was he hired by Adam Lambert for a USA/World tour, (because he had "the look", lets be honest) but he has also won the friendship of virtuoso Monte Pittman who is the source of many gigs in the off times. Many believe that he deserves accolades because he played the role of Adam's "sex object" for the tour, but does anyone really believe that Tommy would never have complied with that, especially with his fluid sexuality , at times he seems more gay than Adam. Tommy may not be on the next tour, but 2010/11 has served him very well so far. IMO I'm not some Adam tommy shipper but am feeling the need to defend his and adam's honor here. I doubt mediocre musicians would have ever made it in front of Adam let alone hired. And I'm sure his looks played a part in getting the job but imagine it was a combination of skill/looks/attitude. having watched Adam and Tommy's interactions throughout GNT the word compliant seems to make both Adam and Tommy out as something other than two guys who looked like they were having a blast on stage living out their mutual Velvet Goldmine fantasy. Yes, he was lucky and acknowledges that fact but I think we all were lucky that Adam put together such a fun dynamic crew that made the tour so much fun. Jamie, I agree. (Although I guess at times I *have* been a shipper/tinhatter without even knowing what those words meant... :(). I also liked what Jablea said about the band as friends and not just employees. I do think that Adam, when hiring his musicians and dancers, looked at not only their skills but also their personalities and their chemistry with both himself and other members of the troupe. I'm sure that touring is grueling as well as lonely at times, and if the group has fun and enjoys being together, it just makes sense that the whole experience would not only be better for everyone involved, but also more successful because that good feeling translates to the stage. That absolutely applies to Adam with Tommy. There is no way that the *fanservice* would have been so well received without the amazing chemistry between Adam and Tommy. It would have fallen flat or looked like a joke. I think that Adam absolutely wanted musically talented people with him, and I think Tommy had to measure up in that way. But I'm sure Adam also wanted people with whom he had rapport. I think that rapport was immediately apparent with Tommy. The success of the "fanservice" was dependent on the affection, and even intimacy, between them. Having said all of that, there is no doubt that Tommy's looks fit perfectly with Adam. I have found Tommy to be a real enigma in certain ways -- for a long time I tried to see what Adam apparently saw in him. But he has pretty much won me over. And I think it is telling that both Eber and Neil seem to like him and tweet him pretty often. To my knowledge, Tommy speaks about Adam with gratitude and admiration. Adam's "birthday" tweet was cute. I guess we're expecting him to see Gaga tonight, presumably with Sauli. Does anyone else remember that he took Tommy to see Gaga (along with Danielle) a little more than a year ago? There were photos and a lot of speculation. Kind of funny in retrospect. ETA: kind of late posting this, thread has moved on -- sorry

That pic of Adam and Tommy is almost iconic now - and I think that's fantastic. That performance is part of the Adam Lambert story (exciting, ground-breaking) - not the whole story, but a part that I and some others still enjoy. Not saying anyone else has to like it by any means, but I just think it's important to keep in mind that plenty of folks don't AT ALL see it as some sort of horrible thing that should not be mentioned, die, or whatever.

I didn't know that. I'm sure I remember that Adam worked at a Mac(?) make-up counter and was offered a very good job by the company.

The picture is definitely iconic and I love it. I am one of the few, I guess, who also loved the performance. It's tiring to see the 1500 complaints mentioned without the qualifier that it was out of 13 million!

Have to post this... just cuz... While Adam was on tour with Orianthi, I always hoped for a "Battle of the Sleepwalker Solos", since Orianthi played the solo on his CD ~

When I see the number 1500 complaints, what always hits me is that is not very many at all. Weren't there over 500,000 complaints over the Janet Jackson malfunction?

WOW!!!!!! What an exciting day!! When I got here and saw 24 pages, I was like........what the heck is going on???????? Did Adam kiss Sauli hello at the airport or something? :D Love that we have pics of the Man/A-List/SuperStar, what a drought it has been. It makes a person feel all warm and fuzzy seeing him on the inside of the beltway these days. Girl, so exciting to hear about your new house, it sounds like it could totally accommodate Glamily ;D Two names came to mind when I read your post, Mika's reference to Sparta & Muse....."You Will Be Victorious"! Seeing Adam with Kate Hudson may have also had something to do with it. This house is YOURS, take no prisoners, a war is a war!!!!! And just for fun Cayman - the games have begun and I will be victorious. Yep it will handle the Glamily quite well with loads of space for fun and games and big screen viewing. Got sidetracked with phone calls from the kids :D I am so excited you found the perfect fit (house) for your family. I know the school district was your first priority and to find a house that suits your family so well in that same school district is no small task. Been there, done that. Congrats! Six months from now when you have your new junk drawer, inside joke for the Myers family, you know you are home. A viewing room for Adam, I am soooooo jealous!
