So now... Kanye, Nicki Minaj and Enrique's in Talks with AI... and when they're going to announce this panel?? next week?? LOL Kanye? another name I need to learn...going to google... but where did this name come from? ETA: googled... another black dude...all African American panel aint' hapenning any more than all white panel... it is hilarious... TMZ is clearly having fun too... I think Kanye is another raper and he's famous from making Taylor Swift cry on Grammy.. And Adam twitted, "Kanye it ain't that deep". |

American Idol obviously feeds TMZ info. Since Nigel came on board so many supposed inside source leaks hit TMZ first. I think AI gives TMZ and Shirley first crack at things. Nicki Minja and her fans totally shredded Shirley and THR on line though. That might not have been too bright. Since people are picking up on the Adam story I think AI will start releasing all these names as leaks. It's getting AI a ton of publicity so I'm sure they'll drag this out forever. It's getting Adam free publicity too. Though I still don't think he's even in the running any more. Highly doubt they'll have two rappers on the panel especially since rapping isn't exactly embraced by the AI demographic. |

Adam came about because of a TV show and he's always embraced it. #itsnotgoodnews  #itsgreatnews ;D 3 years after season 8, Adam is still being introduced as "the finalist of American Idol". If he cannot get rid of the connection, why not use it? To quote some ancient wisdom also found in a Queen song, "If you can't beat them, join them!" And Simon loved his audition, all you have to do is look at his smile. I am getting a laugh out of certain posts in other locations that are "omg Adam won't be liked by the white bread southern middle aged voter", "he's too radical and if MN is in she'll take the radical spot". And all I can say to that is "who the heck voted for him then?" Oh and I think we should trend #itsnotgoodnews on Sunday night. Maybe Adam will retweet it and we'll have our answer early. :Clap: |

Kanye would be a massive win for Idol -- not only does he have a string of #1 albums and hits as a artist, and production credits that go on forever. He also has 18 Grammys.
His last album, "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy", got a 96 from Metacritic.
I can't imagine why he would do it. He does not need the money or fame. He has a lot of businesses, a fashion line, etc. And he is only 35!
