Oh, I know, I know! I know why nica knows who TS is ` She was on AMA, accepting her awards via satelite for "Entertainer of the Year" or something right before Adam went on..................... Nah, you would have to know something about Swiftie and all the music awards shows to know that she was winning everything and anything for the whole year. You would also have to have some knowledge about the other entries for the awards vs Taylor Swift's music to know if Kanye was right or not. If not, how would one know that Taylor wasn't the best in those categories she was nominated for?

Kind of a shame that the "new" news about Adam/AI has overshadowed the discussion about the new single.
I shall take up the challenge, Q
If I was the CEO of RCA, the first thing I would do is pay out some PD's and get NCOE on the air. Or, pay out ClearChannel and the other big syndicate that owns all the stations. I mean, come on! NCOE is charting #6 for dance music, surely all these peeps at the clubs loving this song also listen to radio? Surely they recognize the potential of this song from the #1 album......... It really seems like there is some conspiracy to NOT play Adam's singles. I liked BTIKM, and I like NCOE, they are both good songs. Just got to wonder, with all the sucess Adam has had with this album, charting at #1, the great and at least good reviews, plus his touring with Queen, what is it going to take to get his music on the radio? Radio GAGA!!!!!!! Reminds me of Queen and how they couldn't get played on American radio for quite a while...........
I really don't understand how this song is NOT being played!
For the next single, I would go with Trespassing. I think it could link back to the name recognition of the #1 sales position of the album from Billboard (when it came out) and I think that a lot of kids would really resonate with the theme of the song. Also, many reviewers said it reminded them of "Another one Bites the Dust" and Adam just finished touring with Queen. Although, I would really hate for Adam to do another round of radio promo, but there is plenty of PR to tie into Trespassing as the next single, so that makes sense to me. I think Cuckcoo would aso be great, and Naked Love would also be great, but it is so much the same type of "pop friendly" tune that NCOE was, and that hasn't gotten played, so who knows?

Peeps talked about the next single on yesterday thread. True. But Q3 gave us a project on page 1, and it was quickly overshadowed by the article with Adam's quote about AI. From page 1: You’re hired! 8.21.12 by Q3I have spent my career in Marketing and Advertising and I have learned, “Everyone can write the perfect ad.” Or so my emails tell me.
Or course, most the CEOs, executives, people who “know”, and customers ideas are not so good. But every now and then, the “brilliance” comes from a CEO (or his/her spouse), a person who “knows”, or a customer. I have seen it really happen.
So because I have personally observed it, I have tried to replicate this miracle of the "uncommon" man/women in the crowd. I have decided to give you ultimate power.
Yes, you are now the head of RCA records!! Congrats! Your private jet and masseuse and Champaign awaits – but you have one quick, not too important decision to make before you board your jet – what should Adam Lambert’s next single be? (Your aide now hands you a detailed situation analysis, research findings and other important decision support. You grab the packet. Bark your orders quickly and board your jet.) The people on the tarmac hear you say, “Seriously, your are wasting my time with this s#(*! Clearly, there is only one choice, the next single will be ….. [drowned out by engine noise.]
The fans and press all say in unison, “What did you say?”
Well if you were President of RCA Records, and it was your call, what would you say? Post away! (Unless my crafting of this article finally summons the Gods of RCA Logistics to reveal the actual single title.)
Honestly, any of the 10 tracks left on Trespassing will have my support as a single. So I think this is a win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win proposition.

To Slapdash LaRue... That was not me writing the very insightful comments about Adam's music on last page of yesterday's thread. It was CrazyforAdam. I was trying to respond to her comments. Since I don't know how to make the comment box appear, I was trying to copy/paste & messed it up. At the very end of that post, you will see my comment/response to CrazyforAdam's post. Just don't want others to think I wrote the beautiful comments about the music. Q3 comment: I will go fix it.

MTV News Sep 14 2009 3:16 PM EDT 75,186 Adam Lambert, Donald HeWhoCannot amed, Joe Jackson Slam Kanye West's VMA Stunt Criticism of West's interruption of Taylor Swift's speech continues. By MTV News staff www.mtv.com/news/articles/1621475/adam-lambert-donald-HeWhoCannot amed-joe-jackson-slam-kanye-wests-vma-stunt.jhtml
From fans to Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, Pink and Paramore's Hayley Williams, reaction to the stunt was universally negative. "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert, rarely one to criticize anyone, also tweeted about it, writing, "Kanye needs to chill. He freaks out every year. It ain't that deep man."
