Just an interesting comment my husband shared -- if I wasn't keeping him up on Adam news, he wouldn't have seen anything or read anything about him in "regular" news sources. We both discussed that Elton's benefit which drew a very large crowd, was also the weekend of the big soccer match, and featured Queen was not like made known to "regular folk". Now, my husband would not have been looking for it BUT he does work in a national newsroom which obviously sees alot of stuff sift through. We (meaning us) are indeed in an Adam bubble. ] I think there is so much going on in politics, the war, trade, the drought, mass killings etc. that mainstream news covers very little about the entertainment world unless it is a huge story like the death of Whitney. My sister is a news junkie, as I can be at times, and she knows absolutely nothing about any recording artists. We are indeed in a bubble which turns out to be a fun and interesting place to be. |
