I, too, noticed Sauli's nose piercing and the freckles; he's sooo cute. I also noticed on Adam's right ear, a tiny stud earring further behind the guage. is that new or am I just now noticing it since we had such close-up pics (don't take away my stan card; guess my eyes aren't always focused on his ears; LOL)? Good question, crazylady, I haven't noticed that either. Hmm... stud has always been there

ETA: I've gotta say, I haven't seen it, but I don't get the concept of "The Voice" at all. I mean, isn't that the whole lesson Idol learned with Adam--that it's not just about singing ability, its about spectacular singing ability PLUS being a great, all-round performer? Isn't that supposedly what tanked season 9? That they didn't select performers? I mean, obviously Adam's voice is incredible, but what really grabbed me from Satisfaction onwards was what a confident, carismatic, fun PERFORMER he was! FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT, right? Entertainment is about more than just hitting the notes and singing pretty. It's about moving, and dancing, and doing something with your face (cough, Lee D., cough). It's about owning your song. That's what Adam tried to convince them all of when he mentored Elvis week. That's what Elvis was about, too. I don't see how the judges of this new show are going to evaluate all this without being able to see the contestants--seems to me they're just asking for a boring winner. I see what you're saying but Adam couldn't get signed partially because of his look, despite have that voice and I think that is the point of this show. the majority of the idol contestants aren't "label" made which is why most if not all have struggled at some point to get signed for a recording contract. They look before they listen and a lot of talented people aren't given the chance to show what they can do. IMO it's great that they are judging first based on their vocal abilities. IMO, again, some of the contestants who have gotten through recently on idol have gotten through simply because of their "look" and not based on their vocal talent (looking at you bikini girl ). Music in general is sorely lacking artists who can actually SING and SING WELL and I think people in general might be getting sick of that so perhaps it'll be refreshing to see someone who, while traditionally not what people would expect, vocally is what people want.

Here's his reply: "Hate it. It's no If I Had You". Seriously, USA radio is the strangest "business" out there! I can't even imagine telling one of my customers that I "hate" something they have suggested. If I were in a similar situation and wasn't going to play the song, I would probably say something about it being "too long" or "doesn't quite work with our current playlist" or something. Do they honestly NOT consider the listeners to be their customers? I've been involved in my family's business my entire life and just cannot understand the logic used in running these radio companies. (My local top40 station doesn't seem to even TAKE requests so clearly they are uninterested in what the listeners would want.) But he can't say that because it DOES fit their playlist. Especially his Party at Five, which plays nothing but the strong beat dancey stuff. I'm disappointed in his reaction but I'm kinda glad he was honest. Now all I can do is hope he's on board for the first single for Adam2. I love it! It IS too damn long though.

Really nothing new, the DJ said that Adam and the whole family have been really nice to them through out the whole season. (I am not sure who or what station this was). Eber was asked if he was disappointed about the outcome, he said "a little disappointment but a lot of happiness for the Allen family, and Kris Allen, they are a wonderful people." He kind of expected the out come since Danny's votes would go to Kris since his fans probably listen to Kris's kind of music. Then Adam called in and they asked him about what he felt about the outcome, and he answered with the same thing we heard a million times. Then talked about performing with Kiss in the 5" platform boots. At the end Eber said to Adam "I am proud of you, the whole family is proud of you, we love you very much, and take care of yourself the next couple of days and get a lot of rest, and start making some good music." Adam replied:" Aww, I love you dad." Then they played a little bit of "Beth" Sorry if I missed some. sounds like the ryan seacrest interview. was it? I think it was Jeff and Jer show- San Diego station.

Sauli's nose isnt the only thing that is pierced. J/S : okay my mind just went to a very inappropriate place 8-) and damn his freckles are adorable.... I've always had an obsession with freckles which is why I wish Adam would show his more often.

Is Adam going to have to pay for that ruined ceiling? :-/ That ceiling is famous now :D. They could frame the punch mark and ask Adam to sign it 8-). Art is Art, sometimes it just hurts more to create than usually. HAHAHAHAHA ;D
