Don't know who you got your info from. The presale was thru the fan site and on the fan site, just like all the recent presales. There was a ticketmaster presale for people who had a password from the fair, but it had nothing to do with the fan presale. the tickets are $40 and that includes fair admission (which is required for the concert.) If you want to go to Ticketmaster and use the fair password it is: fairfan12Or, you might want to wait until Sat. Presales usually have a limited supply of good seats, and I am guessing those are all gone. There will probably be better seats Saturday.
Thanks, mys*&@^#r!
Well, that'll teach me skimming so fast to catch up that I failed to understand the full context of this post :
"Just a reminder, any Atopers planning on going to the AZ St Fair concert, the ALFC presale starts in less than one hour thru Ticketmaster. Just checked StubHub and there's already Sec B Row 10 seats for sale for $150 each. Pretty sure I'm not going, but the lure of ticket presales is so enticing, isn't it? Oh, the angst filled memories of GNT."
If there are no VIP packages with m&g, think I'll just wait till this Sat. My hubby thought it would be neat if the kiddos got to meet him since they're such cute little glamberts!
Oh, mys*&@^#r, I'm pretty sure the concert ticket cost is $20 for reserved seats plus whatever the fee is and that covers the admission to the Fair.
Maddie509 Sorry for my confusing post earlier this morning. At the time I thought ALF was gonna link to Ticketmaster because TM had the presale info on their site. When the time rolled around, TM asked for a password so I went back to ALF and found that they connected you to the ticket sales directly w/o a password. It was a new way of doing things at ALF. I appologize for my confusing post. There were no M&Gs offered.

Do ITune sales count more than Amazon sales? Are we talking about Billboard ranking? Grammy consideration? Something else?

That's a great point I didn't think of. We should set up an extra I Tunes account just to order Trespassing when available! Also on Adam Storm they are taking donations to have people at the ready to purchase Trespassing as soon as it becomes available. I trust these people have set up extra ITunes accounts to buy the single. This is a global effort at Adam Storm which I have contributed to. I am also going to set up a couple of extra I Tunes accounts myself so that I will order the single as soon as it is available for purchasing. Gifting to others is another way to increase sales!

It is my impression that iTunes is more important because that is what people look at to see how sales are going. Of course, in terms of money into Adam's RCA account it is probably the same.

Do ITune sales count more than Amazon sales? Are we talking about Billboard ranking? Grammy consideration? Something else? They count the same for everything EXCEPT radio airplay influence. Some PDs and DJs look at iTunes for an immediate popularity index. I hate that iTunes dominates US music sales but iTunes is more important right now than Amazon. But think of it this way. You can buy iTunes now -- and Amazon later and give Adam two sales!!

I am happy to see that people are on this. As is obvious by the fact that I do not have an avi, I have an extreme case of tech phobia, and can't imagine being able to set up an extra iTune account. It took me many, many tries to get my first one. I did donate to the UK purchase campaign, and will be more than happy and able to do the same this time.

OT but William Close just came in #3 on AGT and that is just wrong. I think America's voters do not have any ability to vote. I have to stop routing for people in talent contests!

Before we get to a point were it matters, I will post instructions on how to make Trespassing purchases count. I strongly recommend holding off buying until the song is in motion and needs an extra push!

You can buy iTunes now -- and Amazon later and give Adam two sales!! Is it better to buy the single now (the one from the album) or to wait for the radio release? Will the radio edit and the album single count the same? Or will they be combined to decide total sales? Sooo confusing! And to sound like an unrelenting five year old, after you answer each question, I could ask, "Why?" (But I won't.) ;D I'm glad there are pros here to answer our questions and try to keep us on track! ETA: Q3 - I see your answers above - thanks!
