Wipes sleep from eyes.... Hmmmm. Uh, needacoke, sandysva, ever wanted to visit South Alabama, I mean South America, OH, it's South Africa! Just kidding, kinda. Wonder if SA has a StubHub? Just threw out the possibility to DH, he said "I don't think so". That's what he always says. hehe
eta: Now that I've come to my senses, can't realistically see how I could do it and the costs, well, would be highish.
shimayo JUST DO IT! No excuses, no second guesses, YOU MUST GO!

Concerts not just radio gigs! in SAfrica. WOW! I feel like Spain..what's wrong with Western Canada!!! (actually I am okay until his "real tour"...then he better not foget about us for his second tour.) Did a little poking around. Good interview by the sponsors. Looks like a a great venue. I have not checked out the other venue...but tickets are slightly less at the other venue. www.coca-coladome.co.za/venue-infoI wonder how they will configure the 19,000 max it can hold for a concert? Alright SA Atopers, this is big venue for Adam...but any clue as to the fan base Adam can support in SA? The floor space is huge so chairs or standing??? Tickets 40 - 58 dollar range/ 2 hr 30 min show. Guessing there is an opening act(s), 20 min interval (yah right!) .... then his set is about 90 minutes. Adam needs to put together a show. YES! Crossing fingers for a debut of any song we haven't been hearing... edit:THAT CONTEST VIDEO IS PURE JOY AND AWESOME. Love the sparklers, the mini vjjays, the costumes, his face close up, the location shoot, the police siren at the end. Well done.

Maybe with a total "area" population of 7 million plus, 19K is not that crazy. He's never been there in 3 years. There could be a high enough demand for 19K.

I used to do sales training, car dealerships, insurance companies, etc, and Zig Ziglar was one of our speakers. I found him funny, insightful, and inspiring. I love when we lift one another up as we stan Adam. Not that there aren't bad days, but let's get real, there have been so many more great ones.
Life is too short to spend your precious time trying to convince a person who wants to live in gloom and doom otherwise. Give lifting that person your best shot, but don't hang around long enough for his or her bad attitude to pull you down. Instead, surround yourself with optimistic people. -- Zig Ziglar Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will. -- Zig Ziglar There has never been a statue erected to honor a critic. -- Zig Ziglar Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude. -- Zig Ziglar
And what I think is a life lesson:
* I bring you the gift of these four words: I believe in you.~Blaise Pascal

Woke up to the Adam-in-S.Africa news and I felt as excited as Adam had the Idol gig. I don't know why. I don't know that he has many African fans. He can hold not just 1 but 2 concerts there, wow... Which other AI alumn have have concerts in Africa? I think Kelly has, who else?
Now the next exciting stop will be South Africa. Go Adam!
