It sounds like you are a rather recent convert to the Adam addiction if this is your first gate. I was wondering what happened for you to "catch the fever"?
I've been on board since Idol and so I'm always happy to find he's still adding avid fans.
ON PARTY GATE: I only read 2 of the articles. My understanding is that Perze wasn't even at the party. Are any of the articles mentioning that little tidbit or is it only showing up in the comments? (I'm sure the basis of the story is true, but maybe PH, shall we say, embellished!
8toinfinity well, the first time I heard of his name was around June 2010, almost a year ago, so yay!! not that recent
and yes, I was living under a rock, I was surfing through local tv at my friend's place, and I stopped at Ellen rerun for Robert Pattison ;D, not a fan, just curious...and I remember thinking: poor guy coming after RP, which quickly changed to: who is this guy who got more scream than RP! My friends who are avid AI fan, like Adam, but not Adam fans, showed me two youtubes videos to explain about Adam: the mad world performance and the AMA performance ;D
so, long story short, I catched the fever when i saw the expression on his face on youtube during the CBS early show....how brave, how vulnerable, how precious!!! I was at a major turning point of my life and I drew a lot of my courage thinking about his expression at that time...i am inspired!
Oh my, I think I write too much now, please shut me up...I am supposed to be a very good lurker :-[
one last thing tho, adam is more than "mad world' and 'AMA'..for me, I always relate him to one of my fav song title from green day: walking contradiction..he is! in a good way of course...he is wise but naive, he is fierce but childish, he is badass but sweet, he is manly but pretty, he is perfect but human....and the list go on.
