Hey guys when I said starving, I was quoting Pink, and it was in terms of record sales. Think about it. You basically get a $1 for every album, the PTB get $9 for the album sale of $10. You get 10 cents for each single. She said would starve under those conditions. Indeed, touring pays her well, and also merchandise. I know  I was poking fun at Pink. Could she afford a million dollar house? No. But she was hardly starving. |

In many ways Her individuality and refusal to blend in& conform reminds me of Adam.I've never thought Adam was like Gaga,who is also a very unique &does her own thing artist .I always thought of Adam more like Pink because there seems to be more honesty more from the gut songs.. they seem more real ,more willing to show themselves. This is what I tried to say with my original comment / comparison between Pink and Adam. I also personally draw parallels between them. Someone else said that Pink is now an awards show staple and right there with Katy Perry. However, to me it seems like Pink has built her career for a long time and really worked very hard for a long time. It may just be perception, but anyway. I am glad to see that her hard work is getting rewarded, and I am very much hoping the same for Adam. |
