Yes sounds too familiar.. one would hope that America would finally become more accepting of the gay community.. In some ways it seems worse today.

Thank you .. what an intelligent guy Boy George is. Yes sounds too familiar.. one would hope that America would finally become more accepting of the gay community.. In some ways it seems worse today. He really is a very articulate, intelligent man. It's somewhat frustrating that things have changed so little from 1984. Many countries in the world are evolving quite nicely when it comes to the LGBT community, but the US seems kind of stuck. Only it's not really stuck, is it? From abroad, what we see is that the US is in a state of change right now when it comes to the LGBT community. I don't think it's worse now, it's just that there's more exposure, and LGBT people are more outspoken than they were before, so the homophobes are rising their voices too. I think, if Romney doesn't manage to win the Elections, that the US will keep walking on the right path, even if it takes many baby steps to get to the right place. Young gay people in the public eye (like Adam) can do a lot of good to the civil rights movement the LGBT community is experiencing there. And Adam's healthy, steady relationship with Sauli might help normalize a little bit more the situation. A change is gonna come ( ), sooner or later. I don't know if I'm explaining myself... lol It's 2:25 AM in Spain and I'm half asleep. EDIT: lol Adam tweeted again. He's checking out other artists a lot lately. Adam Lambert @adamlambert Let's just take a minute to recognize that @boygeorge was a pioneer and waaaay ahead of his time. He handled his media interviews w poise.
