Yes, I agree, in Neil's story, Adam was his boss!! TOO FUNNY! The rooms registered with fake names. He didn't want to go down to the lobby because someone from the "conference" (fans?) might see him. Bet Adam had a ball with this one!

I think the glambert handled everything wonderfully and I give kudos to how the show was edited here and all throughout to get the original intentions across. The message I got was that true fans respect his homosexuality but can't help being turned on by him. That about sums it up to me. I re-watched the show and am even more impressed the second time. Adam sat up there with 3 people who make a living being funny on camera. He more than held his own. In fact you could probably argue that everything he said that was meant to be funny, was. Not so true for the other two guests. Considering how much time I imagine Russell demanded, they edited it very generously for Adam. He fits right into situations masterfully and genuinely, whether he is with an 80 year old Chinese women or sharing a couch with Russell Brand and everything in between. Is there nothing he can't do? Adam completely held his own with 2 fantastic (oops, 3 counting Rove) comedians! I think he got more face time than anyone! He did the HS to green pic bit, the Debbie Does Dallas, tea bagging, ripped pants with Queen, sockless shoes, licked ankles!! It was incredible!

Rove specifically addressed Adam several times, starting off with the commentary on him not wearing socks.

so was this all spontaneous? Or was it set up? Did the crew know about the glamberts in the crowd ahead of time or did someone run up there with a mic when adam pointed them out? do you think the woman just got caught up in the moment? But I did hear her calling things out to him, didn't I? I don't think I would have liked to be in her position. Completely spontaneous! Glenda was caught completely off guard. Adam pointed to Glamberts in the audience and the roving camerman came running! TG it wasn't me because I was right on the aisle! :-/ Me TOO!!! First of all, let me say Glenda is fully supportive of Adam across the board and is NOT delusional. She is very sweet, beyond happy about his and Sauli's relationship and totally supports Adam as an out gay man. The entire thing happened in the blink of an eye. She is very gutsy and just as mys*&@^#r said, they second Adam indicated the Glamberts in the audience, the cameras swung around and a boom mic came down to Glenda. Rove made the "turn" comment and we all (LOUDLY) said, "Nooooo!!!" (Which did not come across on the audio.) Adam then made his "They know I'm Full F**" comment and then referred to those FEW women who have hit on him in the past. (He has told many stories so we know they DO exist.) And Glenda good-naturedly shot back, (kind of with a shrug, wink and a smile, IMO), "Perpetual hope." (Like, some people just can't give up.) It was all lightning fast and in the same bawdy spirit of the entire show. I don't think for one minute she meant to imply ALL Glamberts have perpetual hope or she has it in any way, shape or form. If we know anything in this fandom it's that some people will believe what they want to believe. I think they're in the extreme minority, but they do exist. Whether it's nurturing a fantasy about Adam being with them someday or the straight dude of their choice. Another thing we know from this fandom is that context is everything. Adam has gotten in trouble before when his comments were taken out of context and badly edited and people reacted to them when they didn't know the actual story at all.

Russell had his moments, but he also "demanded" (in the attention sense) a bit more focus. He wandered around during commercial breaks, interjected and occasionally interrupted. Overall he was great and very funny but did start getting quite distracting (or he was getting distracted) which is why they let him go when they needed to go back for additional edits and pickups. Adam and Kristen stayed and shot pickups for at least 30 more minutes after Russell left.

We all know who Adam is and wish nothing but happiness for him and Sauli. Does that mean we can't dream. We all have unrealistic dreams of being with someone we never will be. For her remark to be so scrutinized makes my blood boil.! :twist:
