Can only hope at this point that those guys never find out what is driving these numbers, because if they do, it is bad news for Adam. This is so short sighted, imo.
It appears that in the last few days, the voting link was added to Queen's website, twitter and facebook page - that's when the numbers really moved Brian up. I doubt Queen fans cast their votes to support Adam.

Congrats, butterfly! I think that's the most one can get without having any official capacity...(correct me if I am wrong..) I am happy that Brian won. Getting to the top 4 is great! Good way to piss off all the classic rock fans who are actually voting based on guitar skills or importance to the history of rock guitar literature rather than based on thank you notes for being a friend. So far they have not found out who is driving these votes and what is going on, but if they ever do, then Adam is the one who will be hated on by musically inclined classic rock fans, who will feel duped by this. That is just another thing Adam needs in his life. Antagonism against him created by his own fans. Can only hope at this point that those guys never find out what is driving these numbers, because if they do, it is bad news for Adam. This is so short sighted, imo. Brian's guitar playing is amazing...it is like a violin...I am in awe with his skill and musicality and virtuosity and the simple fact that his playing keeps me captivated as if I were listening a great classical musician.... You know - the "greatest" is a very, very fuzzy criteria. TO ME -he is.

I think that just because someone is a fan of Adam and votes for Brian you can't conclude that the Adam fan didn't truly feel Brian was the best guitarist. An Adam fan has just as much right to vote for Brian as someone who is a fan of some artist and likes Jimmy Paige, also, and votes for him. I don't feel Adam fans should feel like the are hurting Adam by voting for Brian. Each person has a right to vote for whoever the hell they want. I voted for Brian and I'm not going to feel I hurt Adam by doing so. JMO I got to go to RL stuff. BBL.

I read the comments on the Guitarworld website and my take on it is that the Idol world is not the only place to find butt-hurt FOOs. Who knows how many people are actually annoyed that Brian beat Page? And there are rock fans who think Brian should have won. Even the Guitarworld editors were split -- some favored Page, while others thought Brian should win. At least one person in the comments section mentioned that there was a link to the poll on Queen's Facebook, but not one on Led Zep's. So I'm guessing Brian's win is based more on Queen fan voting than Glamberts (after all, they outnumber us). Sorry, but I'm not seeing this as a major threat to Adam's career. YMMV.

Oh crap! His next opponent is Jimmy Hendrix! Brian won't win against Hendrix. Well, nobody will..

Brian is a fabulous musician and I enjoy listen to all the subtle and creative things he does. It's fascinating--like Adam's singing is. (Trying to stay on topic.)

Q3: This topic is closed. Thanks! Q3.[...] Can only hope at this point that those guys never find out what is driving these numbers, because if they do, it is bad news for Adam. This is so short sighted, imo. Brian May is a very underrated guitarist. The sounds he draws from his guitar are amazing. He has a very particular sound, and his solos have a very unmistakable personality. The way he uses delay to create harmonies in real time is genius. The way he uses technology and homemade stuff to create his own sound is genius too. IMHO, it wasn't the Glamberts who turned the poll around. Plus, the poll was posted in Queen's sites. I don't think this will touch Adam at all.

There're so many touching "freak-outs" about meeting/seeing Adam on weibo, this one stood out for me (not just because the double pretty, m'kay? ) He's a professional singer himself and one of the 4 lucky fan vids contest winners, so he got to meet Adam up & close. Here is the photo and what he had to say:
"@乐西Lok:我相信那晚对你唱的Time For Miracles一定让你印象深刻,这一切来的太突然,就像这首歌名。与你交谈倍感亲切,我会记住你对我说的每句话,Thx!之后好声音那晚你让全中国震撼,希望这种震撼持续升温 @fans堂 @adam_Lambert_CN @adamlambert中文网 btw最让我感动的是你主动跟我拥抱说你记得我,美梦成真"
"At 80's Talk Show, we sang "TFM" to you that's got to be a bit surreal, which was exactly how I felt when I found out I was able to meet you in person --- it's a MIRACLE!! I felt so connected with you, and I'll remember every single word you said to me and thank you! Your performance on the Voice China has rocked the whole country, I hope your star will keep soaring in China after this! Oh, I was absolutely floored that you remembered me from earlier m&g and you hugged me --- a dream comes true!!"
He's got "Adam hearts" in his eyes, wouldn't you say?! ;D I wonder if he showed Adam his "footies" -- might stop the squelching.

popcrush.com/celebrity-halloween-costumes-picture-perfect/CELEBRITY HALLOWEEN COSTUMES – PICTURE PERFECTby: Cristin Maher Inspire your creative process for Halloween this year by checking out these pictures of celebrity Halloween costumes! Just like us, singers like Miley Cyrus, the Wanted, Adam Lambert and Beyonce enjoy dressing up in Halloween costumes on Oct. 31, with their getups ranging from scary vampires to insanely hot super heroes. When it comes to Halloween costumes, celebrities usually do things right, since they have a team of makeup artists, hair stylists and wardrobe people to help them out. Miley looks so spooky in her Day of the Dead-inspired makeup, while the Wanted’s Max George, Tom Parker and Jay McGuiness look seriously amazing as the Joker, Leatherface and a Na’vi from ‘Avatar.’ We also love Adam Lambert’s simple yet terrifying vampire Halloween costume, while Beyonce makes for one fine Spiderman — er, Spiderwoman. ..
